I purchased some liquid protein from DPS. After using the product, I began to feel sick to my stomach; had insane headaches; bad inflammation and acne breakouts on my face and neck. I didn't know what was causing these things, until I researched the protein product ingredients I purchased from DPS Nutrition. Ingredients like Acesulfame potassium (Ace-K) which is an artificial sweetener. "While it has been deemed "generally recognized as safe" by the FDA, there are some health concerns associated with it: Weight gain and shifts in the gut microbiome, which could potentially lead to obesity and chronic inflammation; Negatvely affect blood sugar balance; Increased risk of cancer and hormone disruption; Risks to pregnant women; Acetoacetamide, a breakdown product of Ace-K, which may lead to thyroid damage in lab animals; It can upset healthy gut Flora and cause obesity and inflammation; Disrupt gut microbial balance and negatively affect metabolism and blood sugar balance which can lead to skin issues including acne and rosacea." Another ingredient: Sucralose. "An artificial sweetener which may have the following side effects: Altering gut microbiome which can lower the number of good bacteria and increase inflammation; Digestive issues which may disrupt digestion and gut Flora; Interference with medication absorbtion; Headaches; Impact on insulin response and diabetes; Allergies; Inflammation" I told DPS about how angry I am for them selling products with these toxic ingredients in them. There is no mention of the possible side effects above that I could find in the product description. At the very least, DPS should put a warning about them - esp. how it could interfer with medication absorbtion and possibly harm pregnant women. I was told by a DPS employee I could return my order and receive a full refund. However, another DPS employee named Maryann has a big problem with what I was told by Rich. She only refunded part of my entire purchase price. She has gone back and forth with me in emails trying to place the blame on me for my entire order not being returned. I asked her what she doesn't comprehend about having to actually consumer some of the product in order for it to harm my body. She actually lied telling me I 'indicated' I was returning the entire order. I NEVER said that because to say such would be ILLOGICAL. She continued to argue back and forth blaming me. I DO NOT work for DPS. If Rich shouldn't have promised a full refund, that is on him and what must be his poor training. While my entire purchase price was eventually refunded, I could have done with a DPS employee on a power trip. Maryann should not be allowed to interact with consumers because she has issues with being contradicted with truth and facts in writing from her own fellow employee. She did not need to keep trying to blame me. Do research into the all of product ingredients sold by DPS Nutrition because they aren't going to warn you of any possible side effects. read more

I was a super high skeptic because they had my casein at nearly half the price than sold elsewhere. I googled the website to see if it was a scam and even yelped it but saw that the latest one was from 2016. Despite feeling skeptic, I purchased my casein and looked at my credit statement very carefully for a few weeks before determining that the business is legit and I got a great deal. I bought the 5 pound Allmax FX casein powder from here for about $33 (where it's about 80 elsewhere) and that's including shipping to California. Once I saw that it was legitimate I was hooked and looked at all the other powders and bars the business had to offer. Never had a bad experience. I used to regularly use a larger named reseller due to selection and coupons. That reseller has since gotten stingy with their coupons while at the same time raising the product pricing and shipping costs. As such, I shop around for the best deal. Whoever has it, gets the sale. I have however used DPS Nutrition off and on over the years and never had a negative experience. They seem to beat other reseller prices on most items I buy and have lately improved their coupons. Also their shipping is still reasonable. The only thing I can knock them for at all is selection. It does seem that every order is shy 1 or 2 products because they do not carry them or they are out of stock. That about it. As such, 4 stars which is great! Keep up the good work guys. read more

DPS is the ONLY place I will buy supplements in NEPA. Its just a distribution center for their website, but they have a small counter inside the front entrance where you can buy items directly. The guys working there are usually really busy with other stuff like filling Internet orders, so don't expect them to be all friendly and smiling. Prices are really cheap and no shipping costs obviously. IMPORTANT!!! Know what you want before you walk in the door, there's nothing to browse other than a list of supplements on the counter. DPS Nutrition surprised me today with their amazing customer service. I ordered some protein and pre-workout from them but I had a problem with my account after I ordered. Within minutes, Rich had replied to my complaint and provided a solution. He then informed me that the pre-workout I ordered was out of stock, so I told him what I was looking for and he provided a recommendation of a supplement I should try. He then included said product (a more expensive product) for no extra cost. I was worried because I am new to working out and I am always skeptical when spending my money, but I will not buy supplements any other way from now on. Just a word of caution- it isn't a retail outlet so don't expect to be treated like a "customer" when you go into the cash and carry outlet. Great Find‼ Be aware if you are not familiar with the area, Google Maps may take you behind it at the top of the hill. So I just punched in APT Distributing instead. It is the building about 100 yards down. This is distribution center but has a counter to purchase directly from them. Great prices, beats GNC obviously and was even cheaper than bodybuilding.com‼. I had a very bad experience recently with DPS and won't be doing business with them again. I purchased 2 twin-pack bottles of a product therefore 4 bottles total and was charged for it, but when I received my package there were only 2 bottles. I immediately called and spoke to a man who said he'd take care of it and I'd receive the missing bottles in 1-2 days. After 4 days I never received anything and called back, this time speaking to a rather rude lady who told me they were out of the product and it would take 2 weeks to come back into stock. She said "I don't know why they didn't notify you but this is the situation." Instead I just opted for a 50% refund since 50% of my order was missing. The next day I saw the refund post and they had subtracted the total shipping cost from the refund which doesn't make sense since this was 100% DPS nutrition's mistake which they needed to correct. I called back and spoke to the same rude lady who proceeded to argue with me and then eventually agreed to refund me half the shipping. I was persistent with calling DPS and wasting so much of my time for the principle of not letting them rip off customers regardless of the $ amount, and for them to correct their own mistakes. Two days later I still didn't see a refund for the shipping so I called back and spoke to the same lady who said "It'll get done, we have to wait for our accountant to come in." Seriously an accountant just to issue a refund? I recommend just doing business with a reputable retailer instead of the unprofessional and very poor customer service at DPS nutrition. read more
