Simply, DO NOT USE CHRONOPOST. I sent a very important package "overnight" from Paris to Lisbon to a friend staying in Lisbon for about 3-4 more days. The French Chronopost people confirm that the package got on a flight out to Portugal on the day I sent it, but since then, it hasn't scanned in anywhere in Portugal. My friend, incidentally, is departing Portugal today. NONE of the phone lines in Portugal are in service... not any of the local stations in either Lisbon or Porto, and the main customer service line doesn't work. The French agents have sent messages to Portugal twice now with no response, so we're pretty much stuck. I don't know what kind of operation they're running out there, but this is absolutely awful. I'll repeat myself one last time, unless your item is garbage, and your intention is to completely dispose of it into utter obliteration, DO NOT USE CHRONOPOST. You will never see your parcel again! read more

If you respect your time and value your money PLEASE do not use this incompetent service they call CHRONOPOST. It is absolutely DEPLORABLE. I would give them ZERO stars if possible. I had paid extra to have a packaged SHIPPED to my apartment. I specified the instructions IN FRENCH to the point where a 5-year-old child could clearly understand. Door code, intercom name, floor, apt number, my own cellphone number in case they needed to reach me. And what did I get? ABSOLUTELY nothing I was home during the delivery window 10H to 18H but no one called me let alone sent me a text to let me know they were there! Then I contacted their customer service team with is also COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT; I speak french so the language barrier is not an issue; TURNS OUT my package was placed at a relay point! If I had wanted to save myself the extra money I would've chosen this option from the very beginning! These people are just LAZY and don't want to do their simple job that we pay extra for! Worst postal service ever,stay away from them!!!!Payed 55 euro for a package to be delivered from Ireland to France,and it looks like the drivers were not bothered to deliver items,so my item was returned! If trying to ring them,well,the automated service has a long list of options,so you can be on the phone all day trying to get through with no luck!!!The next thing was for my family to go to Chronopost center to try and stop item from being returned,and they were informed that was not the right center,they have to go to a different one! They would not help,they have done nothing for someone looking to stop a package from being returned!!!The reason was that ''each center is independent,so they can not help''!!! The drivers would not deliver packages because they dont feel like it,the staff would not help,no luck trying to ring them, really?what sort of service is that?what do they provide,cos they certainly dont do their jobs!!!!They dont deserve 1 star,they have done nothing to earn it!! read more
