And after you're evacuated the staff rarely will admit what the actual situation was. Very unsafe and nerve wrecking. And if by chance you make it to your last quarter, for financial reasons they find a way to kick you out by giving you probations for petty things so you have to repeat and pay them again. I was kicked out for leaving a computer screen with patient information open for 30 seconds while I stepped out of the room to grab my instructor who was one door down. The computer was in a patient room, facing away from the patient, who was not conscious. When I returned with my instructor and we finished passing the medications, I was informed that I would be kicked out of the program due to violation of HIPPA. As someone who has been in healthcare for seven years, this is a small mistake that happens daily. Both doctors and nurses forget to minimize patient charts every day, and they rarely suffer any consequences at all. As a student, making mistakes is all a part of learning. It was not a justifiable reason to be dismissed from the program, but CASPN did it anyway. Six months of hard work with no income because I was going to school 5 days a week and $12,000 in tuition/fees, I left CASPN much father behind in life than when I started. Please take my warning seriously and consider going somewhere else. Going to CASPN could be a costly mistake. Not to mention, you don't receive credits, so if they dismiss you, you are screwed with nothing to show for yourself.
