Thus, I had made an appointment with the receptionist to have my haircut and died, and my eyes waxed. The stylist messaged me and ask me if she could move my appointment from 4:30pm(EST) to 3:00pm(EST). I agreed and moved my schedule around to make sure I could make the appointment. However, as I was about to leave the house for the appointment the stylist messaged me again. This time asking if she could reschedule the appointment for another day and time, as she was running behind schedule. I then had to cancel the appointment as I do not have much free time available with my rather hectic work schedule and I did not want to rush the stylist and risk her making a mistake with my hair or eyes. I have spent two hours calling every salon in my area, trying to get a appointment today. My 15 year anniversary is right around the concern, the last one before my husband goes over seas for who knows how long. However, i have had no luck and now for my 15 year anniversary I get to go to dinner with my husband with scraggly hair, grays and a unibrow. I would not recommend a salon that can't even do the basic business techniques, i.e., proper professional scheduling.

Once we got upstairs, we still had to ask around as where we were supposed to go and where our nail tech was (we later found out that she was delayed due to the fact of her getting her eyelashes done in the next room). Kayla's (our nail techs) service was extremely unprofessional as she was throwing cotton balls , swabs and towels across the room trying to hit the trash containers they were supposed to go into (some actually hitting my daughter). I asked if I could get my toenails done in gel and she said "no we don't do gel here as it's too hard to remove.. So I decided on a regular paint color, which she proceeded to paint on like a first year nail tech student. I called and spoke with the manager (Denise) to express our disappointment, and dissatisfaction ; she-never apologized for the poor service or for her employees unprofessionalism that obviously reflected on her facility but told me I needed to take it up with the nail tech. Bad service from beginning to end. From making the appointment, trying to find my assigned nail techs booth to the service!! Very disappointing and very unprofessional!!

I thought that if I got some color beforehand, I could be full #TeamSunscreen during the entire trip. I had never gotten a spray tan before and I was nervous to do it because let's be honest, we've all seen spray tans go wrong. I read sooooo many reviews and ended up choosing this biz! Bronze2U uses "solutions that are natural and organically infused with Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Vitamins A, E & C. They're FDA certified Vegan, Gluten Free, Paraben Free, and there's NO animal testing involved." Impressive! Other (cheaper) locations use an ingredient that can make you orange, but not here. The natural ingredients also didn't break my sensitive skin out at all either. The owner Bree brings a pop-up tent and spray tan machine with her, directly to your home. She quickly sets up in a few minutes and has you strip down to whatever you feel comfortable in. She put lotion on the parts that tend to keep extra color: elbows, knees, toes, etc. She then did the whole spray tan in under five minutes. She then puts powder on you to keep it on and you're instructed to wear baggy clothes while you wait. The tan didn't wash off on anything though - I'm impressed! You can choose to get the medium tan, which is the cheaper option and has you waiting six hours before showering. There is also the quick tan option which is more expensive, but let's you shower in only an hour or two (you choose when to shower based on how dark you want it to be). I did the medium tan, waited six hours, rinsed off, and was impressed by the natural color I had. It looks so natural and glowy. Sooooo good! Bree is also is an esthetician and has a location downtown in the XG Groom Room, where she will also start doing spray tans soon too. I'll definitely be doing this again!

Bree is so great and I could not recommend her services more! She is so friendly and makes you feel like you are in a room with one of your friends, rather than a stranger you just met and stripped down in front of. I was very comfortable and she explained the process before we started and again as we went. I actually went to her building, which was easy to find, has easy parking that only costed me about $2.20 for 2 hours (I definitely did not need that much time but I'm an over preparer when it comes to downtown parking). I did the quick tan option. I am so happy I checked this place out because my tan is looking great!!
