Five stars without a doubt…read more We booked a sunset cruise for a weekday during our vacation to Vero beach. Captain Kirby arrived to the dock early. His boat was clean and no less than five minutes into our hour and a half long cruise we saw dolphins. Captain Kirby was informative, funny and gave us a great restaurant recommendation (see my review on Riverside Cafe). His vast knowledge of the area and waterways made for a relaxing and stress free cruise. The cruise was private and his boat offers a bathroom, both of which are not common with other local boat tours. We will book another cruise next time we are in the area!

This was literally our favorite thing we did this trip. Captain Joe was the best guide for this trip. We learned alot. We saw many Ospray birds, pelicans, some manatees, fish and more. My favorite was the dolphins! I have never seen dolphins swim so close to us before!!! The other young man on the boat was very nice and helpful as well, I think his name was Mitchell... forgive me if I'm wrong. Here are some pictures and videos from our trip. Because the tour is small, no more than 6 passengers, we were able to follow dolphins and other aquatic animals for most of the 2 hours. We also saw the inlet. The captain was very knowledgeable about all of the animals we encountered and was able to give history to the area and its development and ecology.
