I know the credit crisis has hit alot of people but the banks have really let the kids take…read morecharge..well halifax at least. All i wanted to do was upgrade and account and the young girls at the counter were confused. They booked me in with an advisor who then mysteriously became busy for the next 3 days so another employee said it can be done over the phone and put me through. After 10 minutes i finally got through to telephone banking which i did not even ask for or require. I just hung up and walked out. I think the employees were eating lunch at the back during all this. I hope someone takes over soon.

Used my local Dover branch today, needed to draw out money from a book based account, only one…read morecashier open, stood in a queue for 10 mins then was patronized by the male staff member who was patrolling the floor. When it was suggested my myself and other customers that maybe it would be more help if another window was opened he made us feel as if we were in the wrong and should be doing all banking on the internet or by card ( both of which I do!!). I was also going to invest a large amount of money in a long term investment but he has just lost that custom.
