A contact in my business network introduced me to Matt Incardona at douxdolci.com. I was looking for a cost-effective way to learn basic web design without a long learning curve. I originally created a template-based website using GoDaddy. However, that platform possessed limited functionality. So, I upgraded to a WordPress environment, but I didn't know where to start. That's where Matt fit in. After discussing my situation, Matt told me of his 4-hour one-on-one class. We first started with a 2-hour module where he taught me the basics of WordPress and Elementor, and some intermediate functionality. At that point, I went on my own and started designing the site. We regrouped a few days later and he answered the questions or issues I encountered along the way and he taught more formatting tips and advanced functionality. He set up useful plug-ins in WordPress for me to use. At this point, I have a functioning website and I look forward to refining my site. I also have the ability to update my site as needed.
I am very happy with the class format and the level of support in between the sessions that Matt provided. This proved to be a cost-effective way of getting a website up and running for a fraction of hiring a web designer.
