They ruined mine and my daughter's life never investigating any of our claims or reports allowing him to neglect and abuse us for over 18 months, they need to do a better job at notating people's files and stop allowing people to be neglected. My PE cost me more financial hardship than I ever have known in my entire life and I'm still trying to recover from that person being highly recommended by the SSA stating they've never had any complaints about them. I understand why now because they don't notate or investigate any complaints against a certain person because they know I'm personally very well. I'd say that's a major fail and against regulations, but to get this straightened out has been a nightmare, I wish I never had to deal with him personally because they don't do their jobs correctly as far as I'm concerned, these people are covering up a lot of rules and regulations that have been broke on their end. Sadly, we are forced to deal with these people who seem to get away with destroying peoples lives.

Quick snapshot of the man from Independence, MO…read more If you're interested in visiting the Truman house at 219 Delaware, you will need to stop here for tickets and a time slot. This site on Main will put you in touch with the NPS Rangers who will have you watch a short film about the 33rd President, his rise to the Presidency, and his rise attempt to normalize after leaving office. After the film you will have the opportunity to head over to Delaware and visit the Noland House (which belonged to his aunt and uncle), which houses a small assortment of Truman artifacts, or you can stroll from Independence Square (5 blocks to the house), along the same streets that President Truman walked before, during, and after his presidency. The house itself is as it was when Bess Truman passed away in the 1980s. Inside you will find a very unassuming life that her husband attempted to keep. He tried his best to not let his role as leader of the free world get to his head. Despite that, the former president was a point of interest for folks passing through Kansas City and Independence, Missouri. During the 30-ish minutes, Ranger led tour, you can't take photos, but you can certainly understand the Trumans did their best to live a peaceful and "normal" life and that's the way they lived the entire time. It's surprising how many generations of Trumans lived in that tiny little home, but they made the most of it. This site adds another touch to the life of the 33rd POTUS, and adds another layer to the exhibits you can see at the Truman Library and Museum down the road.

The people who work here are super helpful and knowledgeable about Truman. They know the sites…read more They saved me lots of time with their tips. They were great in giving you the necessary information you needed to explore this area that is rich with the history of the 33rd President. I highly recommend them.

I had to go to traffic court today and after reading the reviews I was nervous as heck. I haven't…read morebeen to court in over 30 years so I had no idea what to expect. I didn't know you have to go through metal detectors and be searched take off youe shows. I live in Shawnee KS we don't have all that going on, but anyway if you don't have to go please don't!!!! The process is brutal and they act like your guilty to all ready just cause you there. I didn't pay attention to the makeup of the building but it looks like a ole skool museum. The judge was laid back..the courtroom wasn't professional at all they dressed like the were going to the park. I mean just hood with correction . Everything worked out thank God for Jesus paid my court cost and got outside and had a parking ticket talk about steaming hot mad. That parking woman gave every car and I mean EVERY CAR a ticket she was popping those tickets like Oprah's Favorite Things..you get a ticket..you get a ticket..you get a ticket... You all get a tickeeeeet!!!!! So beware and be careful. You would think at $35 a pop they would have working meters but oh Nooo to much like right. I gotta go pay this ticket but my business with Wydotte County is Over!!

A stress creating office! Lines beginning at 6:30!! Why? To get tab renewals or car registrations,…read moreor...? 50 plus people in line by 8am. Still an hour wait after opening doors even though we were 18-20th in line (we arrived at 7)! Inadequate parking. Coin parking meters that can't be added to without going outside...risking losing your place. Rain and no line system outside to help prevent people getting angry at others for cutting in front. Then, once you are in, they limit the number of car registrations they can do. Sending people home who have been in line for over an hour and a half! This is NOT serving your community. Staff the department! Get 'satellite' offices. Free parking or update the meters. 2 hr limit?? It takes two hours just to get in! Where is the leadership?
