She asked if the loved one's obituary was posted at the funeral home and she read it while we talked about flowers and colors. Reading that the loved one was involved for years with a tulip organization, she had the perfect flowers in mind from her supplier. The arrangement was absolutely beautiful and she was so very thoughtful to locate the perfect flowers. I find out later that tulips are the favorite flower of the loved one as well as her daughter and granddaughter. Thank you, Sun!

As my friend is a fashion designer and was invited to participate in a fashion show there. Unfortunately I couldn't attend the event, so I decided to show my support by sending a bouquet of flowers for her and the models. I found Designs in Flowers online, the Google reviews were decent, so I place my order. My instructions for delivery were very detailed. As it was a surprise I couldn't tell my friend to keep an eye out for a delivery. So, I included in the instructions her name, the name of her company, her phone number & the delivery time. I received an e-mail confirmation stating my order was complete. And would be delivered promptly on Saturday afternoon to the venue given. Fast forward to Saturday...I am awaiting a phone call from my friend to say "Thank you for the flowers" But she never called, which isn't like her at all. However I figured she was busy attending to her models and creations, that she forgot to call me. But when I didn't hear anything from her on Sunday morning, I text her to ask if she received my surprise. She said "What surprise?" I told her I sent a bouquet of Congratulation flowers for her and the models to the venue. She made me aware she NEVER RECEIVED ANY FLOWERS. Designs in Flowers were closed on Sunday, so my annoyance had time to fester, before I called to find out what happened. The store opened at 8:00a.m., I was on the horn calling at 8:03a.m. An employee by the name of Leon answered the phone. I gave him my name and the name of my friend to whom the flowers were sent for. My connection was poor, so I had to repeat myself a few times which further annoyed me. I told him the order I placed never was delivered to my friend. He told me "Yes, the delivery was made. I personally delivered that order myself." I asked..."Were they delivered to the name on the instructions?" This slow m0+h3rf_ _ _ er said " I gave them to a lady setting up the chairs." I thought to myself...Self, why would a fashion designer be setting up chairs at a fashion show? I asked..."Did you ask her if she was the person to whom the delivery was for?" By now my voice & attitude is aggressively nasty towards him. As his incompetence ruined my surprise. My questions and tone must've irritated him because he cussed at me then stated he'd give me a refund. He had the audacity to be upset with me for being annoyed that he delivered the flowers to the incorrect person. All the while he had her phone number & name to verify who he gave the delivery to. But he didn't use either of them, so he must've thought I was trying to get over on him as he called my friend to see if she didn't receive the delivery. After she made him aware she didn't receive any flowers, he called me back to apologize for his lack of professionalism earlier during our conversation. And he would gladly refund the amount owed. If I could give this company a negative stars I would. It was the simple fact I included everything needed for this to be a smooth transaction. But he neglected to use common sense which ruined my surprise.

My florist friend brought me here to pick out flowers for my reception. For one, I really could not tell you the difference between most flowers (thus why our centerpieces were baby's breath - easy, simple, affordable and the bigger bang for your money). Fred is in charge of the fresh flowers and helped answer my questions. Most of their fresh flowers is in the walk in cooler and grouped according to their type. There wasn't a huge selection, but each flower looked fresh and healthy. Since it wasn't rows upon rows of flowers, making my final selection was pretty quick and easy. Fred wrote up my order and I was out in under 1.5 hours. Picking up the flowers was easy, I walked in, confirmed that my order was paid for (We were blessed to have our friend purchase the whole thing for us as a wedding gift!!), pulled my car around and everything was carefully loaded in by their staff. The flowers were very fresh and lasted not only during the reception, but several of our guests took home the centerpieces and bunches of flowers that are still going today (5 days after the reception) which is a great sign that these guys had premium flowers!

The picture of the family member was really a picture of a total stranger holding a completely different arrangement at a cemetery. I tried to resolve this directly with Teleflora and they referred me to this florist. I attempt to get my money back ($92 total) for this crappy arrangement that was never even delivered and they stopped communicating with me. They are the lowest of the low to take money from a grieving family during the loss of a family member. They don't deserve your business!
