He (Peter) came on time and gave us a competitive price. We agreed to install. We did just an install, so please note this makes this company ideal if you shop your own materials. Initially, we decided to go with them believing that their wood was made in the USA as we were told. The wood was delivered with "made in China" all over the boxes. When I wrote an email about my concerns, I received no reply. Sheena lacks knowledge about the process of tile tear out and installation. She told us the process would take 3 days...it ended up taking 2 weeks and they didn't really cover things well. It was a MESS! We had no washer and dryer hooked up for 2 weeks and our food in the pantry was covered in dust and inedible. We were told the day of installation that our concrete was high in moisture and charged an additional $3,000.00 for sealant; no one had tested the floor before installation? It was a nightmare; being told people would work over the weekend, when no one came; not being fully prepared or informed of the process; being told things that were not true, like them providing a cleaning service after they are finished; having unexpected fees added; and receiving little to no communication from the office even after I had expressed my frustration and concerns. I like to support small businesses, but if you are looking for a floor, I would go with big companies who are reliable and professional. The installers were great and did a wonderful job, but we were more than disappointed with the service at Simple Floors in Lutz.

We lined up a second, they had a baby and were too busy. We had people come by and then never send quotes. In stepped Jaime at Mr. Alligator Renovations. Jaime gave us a very reasonable quote and a time frame for starting. That time frame kept getting pushed back (due to another job he was working on) and correspondence was sporadic. We started to worry that this was just going to be another failed experience. But Jaime finally arrived and the work he did was stunning! Jaime allowed my wife to give her vision of the bathroom and he made it a reality. There was a misunderstanding that caused more work for Jaime and he did it with minimal complaints. He kept my wife, who was working from home, abreast of what he was doing and what he was noticing in our walls. He fixed additional items in our house while he was here and truly went above and beyond. After finishing, we noticed a leak, and he was here the next day fixing it. Jaime at Mr. Alligator Renovations does great work, goes above and beyond, is reasonably priced and will help your remodeling vision become a reality. He will be first on our list next time something else needs work.

His communication regarding the project from quote through the install completion was timely and thorough; his pricing was fair and his attention to detail during the install was excellent.
