She said she'd have a shade I could use but I could bring my lipsticks as well. And she would work with the hair accessories I had purchased. Day of I showed up and her fellow makeup artist Yesi started curling my hair. She was friendly and we chatted amiably while she styled my hair. We discussed the hairstyle and hair accessories I had and settled on one. Then she did my makeup. The whole process was fun and I did like my look. It was hot and humid in Arkansas and I sweated a lot. Dabbed at my makeup and was worried it would run. But it was fine. I still looked good that night at the reception after the long day. And my hair help. I had it half up and my hair is heavy so it usually falls out of the style. But Yesi put a hair tie in it and enough Bobby pins and some hairspray so it held. I would recommend them for hair and makeup.

It's right off of Walton Blvd so it's super easy to stop by when running around town. It's very spacious and clean, which is always a plus. I specifically said that I know bangs are tricky and that if the stylist was not comfortable, I did not want her to do them. She assured me she could. She could not. She cut my bangs far too thick and far too wide--essentially from ear to ear--and then, in what felt like a panic, over-thinned them trying to fix it. The result is uneven, stringy, misaligned sections with different lengths, and hair that now starts much farther back on my head than it ever should. This is not a minor mistake--it fundamentally altered the structure of my haircut in a way that cannot be quickly corrected. To make matters worse, she was late to my appointment, and there was no acknowledgment or remedy offered for that. The lack of professionalism continued when I raised concerns. I was told, "it's not a big deal, it will grow," which is incredibly dismissive considering I have multiple family events and travel coming up, including a professional photoshoot. When I spoke to the owner, the response was, "what do you want me to do about it?" There was no accountability, no attempt to meaningfully fix the situation, and no care for how this impacts me beyond the salon chair. While I was not charged for the haircut itself, I still paid $80 for color--and that is the least of what this has cost me. This experience has cost me confidence, comfort, and peace of mind during important family moments that I cannot redo. This was never about saving $20 on a haircut. I paid far more than that in the aftermath of this experience. Mistakes can happen. But poor skill combined with dismissiveness, lack of accountability, and unprofessional handling is unacceptable. I would not recommend this salon to anyone, especially for precision services like bangs.

Nothing was explained to me as being different or upgraded. When I went to check out, I was charged $40. When I questioned the price, I was told it was because of "powder," which was never discussed during the service and is what I've always had on my nails. Later, when I called for clarification, I was told the price difference was actually because the online prices haven't been updated -- which directly contradicts what I was told in the salon. During the service, I also had to ask the technician multiple times to file underneath my nails. My natural nails are yellow, broken, and in poor condition, and I specifically asked for them to be cleaned properly. The technician became visibly annoyed, sighed, rushed the service, and still did not do it correctly. I left feeling uncomfortable and unhappy with both the service and the lack of transparency. I've attached photos so others can see the condition my nails were left in. Between the unprofessional attitude, inconsistent pricing, and poor communication, I won't be returning.
