Service can be a little bit better if you ask me though. No smile or acknowledgement of you being there even while being checked out. They are higher than just about any competition around. There are potholes in the parking lot that are so big, your whole car bounces like a roller coaster. I got blocked in by a vendor truck that wouldn't let me out. I had to back up and go around him. See picture of truck. He can't park either. He finally pulled up after he noticed me stressing out. Once inside, the cashier guy just kept staring at me after my friend couldn't get coffee. He didn't care whether we bought coffee from him or not after telling him it was out. I bought a coke and left. I really don't care if I ever come here again to tell you the truth.

The area is pretty small but smelled like fresh donuts. Behind the counter there were employees still making donuts. The line went faster than expected and I ordered a dozen donuts and a large coffee to go. The dozen was boxed up quickly and I paid. They have a self service coffee area with a sign that says no free refills. The coffee was just average coffee however; the donuts were out of this world. Out of all the donut shops I have been in, these glaze are on par with Crispy Crème. I took them into work and planned on eating one. I ate four and need to the gym and workout for punishment for my indulgence.

So, you can get milk, sandwich meat, ice cream, beer, orange juice, eggs, sweet tea, lemonade, cokes all sorts of other cold grocery products. They actually have more refrigeration section than the other two Dollar General stores in this town put together. They also have a Redbox outside the store. So, you can rent movies for a dollar or two while you are here. Anyway, I always get checked out quickly and they are always friendly. They are also busy at this location because it is the largest Dollar General Store in the area. The store seems cleaner and better organized than the other two. Maybe it's better managed. I don't know. In summary, I will be back as this store because they are well stocked at all times even during Christmas. You can get some real good deals and save money at this discount store and I highly recommend them.
