How stupid! i was a daily customer! it was clearly their mistake. if you shop there, bring a calculator and double check the total, because if they overcharge you, you'll never see that money. They dont trust their own cashiers to handle a $3 mistake. why on earth should we trust their employees if they dont? This place would benefit from new, less greed focused management. if it were my business, i would have apologized and comped the customer's whole purchase instead of losing a daily customer. Hot Yoga in the middle of a gas station can be a bit off-putting but our instructor Ned was great at talking us through the movements, keeping us grounded, and helping us to center our breath. One of my favorite parts about this location (I think it's a chain?) is they offer a variety of food and drink options for all types of fitness goals. Blenditos Nutrition Shakes is the only brand my family trusts. I ordered the FreshMoppa Blenditos Shake ($3) and paired it with the BigHaus roll from their sushi counter. ($6) I never would have thought I could have such a fresh experience in the middle of Kentucky. I watched right before my eyes as the master sushi chef team prepared my order to perfection! They also have a cooler in the back where they dry age meats, cheeses, and various butters-all priced at State WIC minimums. Overall a great experience that really set our weekend off. Any time you go into the store presents you a very good opportunity to contract Covid. I've never…read moreseen any of the cashiers wear masks. I've never seen any of the workers who prepare and handle food wear masks. They don't have any kind of sanitization station set up. One day I was there for about ten minutes and decided to sit and watch how many customers wore masks. In that ten minutes, I counted eighteen customers coming and going, and of those customers, only myself and one other wore masks. I'm just over the hill from Vicco. Unless you want to drive all the way to Hazard or Hindman, Ramey's is the only place around for miles to get gas. If you're low on gas, it's your only option. But while the people who live here have refused to take Covid seriously (it's Trump country here, no big surprise) you'd think at least the businesses would. The major ones in Hazard and Hindman do -- the fast food chains, WalMart. But Ramey's has made zero effort to provide a Covid-safe environment for their customers. And with as spread out as things are here, Ramey's is a necessary stop for most people in the area. It's just a shame that every time you go there, they're taking your life into their hands.
