Big, bold, and done right--twice. This last visit I dove into a crispy shrimp po' boy with hand-cut fries, fried green beans, and fried okra that took me straight to grandma's Sunday table. Everything was fresh, seasoned, and hot--nothing sat under a heat lamp. The bread on that po' boy had just the right chew, and those shrimp were the real deal, not that frozen nonsense. This ain't some corporate chain menu--it's a local spot with heart, consistency, and Texas-sized portions that respect your plate and your pocket. I'm not here to argue ingredients with folks--I'm here for good food and good people, and Double J's keeps showing up with both. Support your hometown joints. Double J's deserves the love.

Never called back wouldn't respond to messages and now I either have to sue or just take the over price hit. We asked them not to place the cement pad against our deck, they didn't. They were the most expensive but could do all we asked, were in the area and had good ratings. The asphalt work and ribbon curb are great. Their cleanup was not - I am still cleaning up concrete from the yard and the 4'holes they dug for the footings were filled with a dirt/sand mix and they only had about 4" of a soft concrete like substance. Obviously we didn't know that until the driveway poles were being attached a little over a month later. They are crap and with just a bit of a push you could push over the bolted posts because there is no concrete to secure it. I sent an email to them not expecting anything but an acknowledgment because we didn't have time to wait for them. No response. I wont be doing business with them again nor will I recommend them for these reasons.
