The absolute worst company. They installed dead sod at our new Lennar home and will not return our calls. The entire neighborhoods sod is dead with only weeds growing on dead grass. We are all watering weeds. Lennar is also horrible. I've never seen such blatantly poor service. read more

Absolutely terrible. The person that came to my door was smoking a cigarette. They miss placed grass where I had marked off to not lay grass and did not come to fix their mistake. The rocks and ground were not cleared correctly everything was just semi flattened with a skid steer before the grass was laid. read more

Double H was the company our new build used for landscaping. 75%+ of the sod in the backyard was either dead or close to it. Additionally, they rejected my request for a quote to finish the remaining 15-20 ft of sod install in the backyard because they installed the other sod the day before. Would not recommend at all. Stay away if you have the choice. read more

They installed my grass and my neighbors with huge gaps allowing the weeds to grow and the top soil to wash out later the same day it was installed. They blamed it on me not watering even though I have pictures from day one showing the huge gaps and a huge mud river along my sidewalk. My neighbor watered from day one and their is even worse. This company is complete garbage. They deliver poor quality grass, their installers just slap it down and barely groom it, and they use their Bobcat track loader to place the pallets near their workers and crush your irrigation system in the process and act stupid about it. It only magnifies the problem when not one single person speaks English. They crushed one sprinkler line in the back yard, sodded over several sprinkler heads, and damage two others, then you call the office and get some lady named Elexa I think it was that is very unfriendly, rude, and not willing to do anything to help with anything. I would give them negative 5 starts if I could. We had no say in the matter since they were provided through Lennar homes. That is a whole other massive complaint and super negative review. I highly discourage anyone from using this garbage company and do your homework folks. read more

The absolute worst company to hire for your landscaping. I have worked with several different landscaping companies before and have a fairly decent idea of what a good landscaping company should and shouldn't do. I went with these guys because they were recommended by my builder Lennar. They were extremely quick to take payment up front and said they couldn't get started until they had payment. Then after being paid, they did not stick to their timeline, initially giving me one day and then being delayed almost 2 weeks. Kept giving me excuses. I had to call them almost daily, sending many text messages asking for the status. Also, the sod that they installed? Half dead within 2 months of installation, and lots of weeds. I called them about it and emailed them pictures showing the half dead grass. No response. I finally called back and they claimed that it looks like the dog had dug up part of it. I'll give them that, but the dead sod was not just in the back yard but also in the side yard and the front yard. They claimed no responsibility for anything and just said "that's not what we show on our end." Customer service was terrible, quality of the sod was terrible, but the excuses are plenty. My recommendation is to find ANYONE else, even if you have to pay more or less. By the way, they charged over $5000 for this job (approx 3500 sqft sod, 3.75 pallents + 6 zone sprinkler system with a Rainbird). If you take anything from this review, just do NOT go with Double H. You will pay whatever you pay and regret it. Please just find someone else on Google, Thumbtack, Angie's List, ANYONE else. If you go with them, you will just end up having to go with another company a few months later to re-do the job. So save yourself the headache and just go with the other company. read more

I am so disappointed with Double H Landscape. Not only did I have to call multiple days in a row to speak with someone about my issue, but when I did finally talk to Jose he had no solution. This company installed dead grass at my new build. The day after they installed it, I hired a Gardener to water. After a week of consistent watering the gardener informed me that the grass was dead and not healthy when planted. I've tried to reach out to Double H with my concerns and they are extremely rude and think that their low quality of lawn care and customer service is non existent. read more

Why do you take down my back fence and then put it back up crooked? Then instead of actual soil, you put sand. You give me a dead tree that was broken in half when I arrived home. People like these guys is why yall have less than a 1 star reviews. Absolute crap quality of work. Already reported on every major review site. This company is not honorable & does not care about small customers, unless you are their primary client - builders. I asked for an estimate for grass installation on 3/11/24, They began install on 3/27/24 (for the builder covered amount) and that day I asked them to please install the additional grass that I would be paying for- at which time they told me "unfortunately I can no longer honor that quote or install. After 20' was ONLY at time of install." Ok, fair enough, however they were STILL INSTALLING and weren't done until 3/29/24. I requested they honor the price they had given me since they were still installing- they would not. They told said I would have had to pay for it 2 weeks ago- however never told me this at the time of the quote, so I had no idea that was their requirement or expectation. I even spoke to the owner, he said "they are so busy with the builder's work" & He blamed the builder and said they tell the construction managers to inform the buyers to pay for it 2 weeks before install... which is not true. (The construction managers don't facilitate anything beyond what the builder pays to install). I informed the owner no such conversation was had and he said " we just can't do it".Double H Landscaping only cares about business if it comes from their main client. Fine, their prerogative, however they should not even bother giving us" small customers" estimates that they are not willing to honor based on timelines no one informs the customer of. I work in a customer facing business as well (real estate) and I would never treat clients in such a way. read more

This company was the one that installed the irrigation system in my house, Lennar hired them. Their work broke twice in the first year. The first time was the valve and the second time was one of the sprinkler heads. For the first time, they washed their hands off of the issue blaming the valve bursts due to a freeze (I live in Texas, there was no freeze that week, the lowest was 50 degrees). So, I paid to get it replaced. The second time, they came to "fix" the sprinkler head. Now, the same sprinkler head isn't working as it is supposed to and when I called them, they told me that now I have to pay because it's no longer under warranty. Even though it is the same thing they "fix" before. They have blamed EVERYONE and EVERYTHING else as to why it's not working correctly except for their crappy work. The manager I spoke to told me that now, it is my job to perform maintenance and they don't cover that. Lastly, he said, and I quote "even though it looks like it is our fault your sprinkler head is not working, since it isn't under warranty, we aren't going to fix it." I asked him if he wanted that to be his official answer and he said "yes! my name is Eric Perez and you can quote me." so, here it is! Also, the number that says here isn't their real number. The owner came out and gave us a quote for a rock/flagstone walkway with 2 pads. He was very willing and offered siggestions to make the project better. We got a quote on a Thursday and by Tuesday they were out. The foreman on site was very attentive with us and always aimed to please. The owner came out each day towards the end to check in with us. The finished project came out great. They even mulched, added some seed where the grass was distrubed. I would recommend this company for any landscaping. We might even hire them again if we decide to a another walkway and bbq area. read more

The worst! Had them build a patio to put a fire pit witch came out ok. They were suppose to make a path to the fire pit and one that would split of to the water faucet. All the did was through some limestone Down and that's it!! It looks terrible. I had to hire another company to fix it and make it the way I wanted. So do your research and hire a company that can show you pictures. Do not hire double H to do anything!!!! They just want your money! read more

Installed sod grass as part of new home build. Grass was covered by warranty and when sections of the sod died, they were notified. Have told me three times they were coming but never showed. Avoid these people. Poor product and customer service read more
