My friends and I stumbled on this amazing store in Williams, AZ after leaving the Grand Canyon. We were filled with delight at the vibrant colors and vast amount of Native American/Cowboy items on display. All of which are locally made. They have any size and variety of cowboy hats, moccasins/ Sweatshirts and some humorous novelty items. They have porch/kitchen signs, replica guns, and wooden hand carved items to be displayed. We spent almost an hour in the store because we didn't want to miss anything. This is the perfect one stop shop for tour groups. They have something for everyone! They could probably even pull items for folks in advance if it were pre-arranged and there was a time crunch. They have ample parking so buses can easily get in and out. Also don't forget to take pictures with the tee pees outside and the various statues displayed. They even have a "medicine man" in a fortune teller booth (Think the movie Big) that is motion triggered when you walk up to the front of the store who will officially welcome you and for a couple of coins he will give you a fortune. This store has the most unique and ornate items we saw while in AZ. We bought tons of jewelry, hair bows and even lollipops that had real scorpions inside. Don't worry they were food safe and have been properly sanitized. But still so cool. They have real taxidermy of Bears, and pelts from other animals. They also have an old time phone with the hand crank. It's like you step back in time once you cross the doors of the store. There are three individual rooms, each more intricate than the other. You can get real dream catchers here also. They have Native American Headgears and tribal wear. We were blown away by the restrooms. I have a total phobia of public restrooms and avoid them at all costs because (eww germs). However, once my friend went in and noted how cool they were and clean I had to check it out for myself. We were there at about 2pm and the restrooms were pristine, with ample toilet paper/soap etc. But the décor is so cool. Cowboys/Cowgirls everywhere. If you're thirsty and need a cold drink they have you covered here too. They have a cold display case with canned/bottled drinks. The new owner Kristina happened to be there the day we visited and she couldn't be sweeter. She answered every question my friends and I had and was super patient. She mentioned they also owned a steakhouse called "Yippie-ei-o". We will have to try it on our next trip. But if you have time go by!! Prices overall are very affordable here and the quality of things are excellent. The customer service is outstanding. If you go to the Grand Canyon, don't miss stopping here. You won't regret it.

It's about time to write a review for Double Eagle Trading Co. Kody the owner was the friendliest and tries his best to curate the store with what visitors and regular customers want. I walked in looking for authentic Native American goods and a fun browsing experience, and both I got! There is a wide variety of goods, a price point for everyone for gifts or for yourself, and great photo opportunities right outside. You can't miss the colorful invitation from this place! Thank you Kody for such a wonderful shopping experience!

Sure, they have slightly better than average tourist stuff. I came here as a kid and had fun playing in the cheesy Teepees. I came back to do the same thing years later...with my dogs on the way to the Grand Canyon. Good times!

Cool stuff to see outside the shop.

The two ladies running it are so nice and friendly. Prices are so much better than other trading posts, and the inventory is amazing!

I understand that for some, this will result in an apoplectic display of unadulterated, authentic frontier jibberish... but if you can get past this point, there are some cheapish finds here if you're willing to lower your standards to a level of basic utility and accept the nearly disposable nature of items found here (note, there's a Dollar General around the corner, but if you don't like Family Dollar's pricing, you're gonna have a bad time there, too.) Staying with the kids at a nearby hotel, we wandered in for cheap hotel toys, batteries, and some warm hats and gloves. All of these items were found quickly in the somewhat cluttered but small store. Several "end displays" of assorted bins of crapulent knock-off toys block the entrance/exit, and likely excite the Fire Marshal on his bi-annual visits. Cheap ski caps for a dollar and mittens/gloves for $3 were ours for the taking. Five year old daughter selected some terrible Shopkins toy, and sons settled on walkie talkies with a 6 ft. range and lots of "squelch" (sorry Millenial readers, you grew up in a world of telecommunications in which squelch was probably irrelevant...) Anyway, I enjoy pawing through discount store stock like some kind of starving raccoon... sometimes, you just might find the proverbial lobster tail that got dropped on the floor. Don't hate on Family Dollar; just think of them as Big Lots' smaller second cousin with a superfluous third nipple and maybe missing a toe on her left foot.

It's located near the Williams Visitor Center, which made parking super easy with plenty of free spaces. There is no fee to enter, and it is a smaller place. It took us about 20 to 30 minutes to go through it all and we also spend time speaking to the owner. He was friendly, knowledgeable and you can tell a lot of thought went into everything. Each item on display had interesting facts but also some had a bit of humor which made the boys laugh. In the middle aisles, they had a selection of toys, rocks, plushies and some boardgames for sale. I wish I had taken more pictures but as my husband said, "If we had taken more photos, his phone would be full of ..." well you can imagine lol Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area, especially if you have kids and want something quick, fun, and a little different. It was a nice break that costs nothing to enter but leaves a lasting impression.

Following advice from the internet, we checked out old gas stations and local stores but nothing interesting detected. We walked into Poozeum with zero expectations after seeing the sign says free and disappointed by the gas station next to it. HOWEVER, it was mind blowing and definitely one of the highlights of the entire trip. (Even though we just saw Grand Canyon!) There were all kinds of interesting fossils - dinosaurs poop fossils, bowl movement fossils, and amber fossils with insect inside which I only read about in the books! The owner was super fun to talk to. He was clearly a very knowledgeable and humble scholar, who travels the world to study fossils. He was also very humorous and referred to himself as a "poop collector". I admire the dedication and passion that he has for poops. I strongly recommend everyone to go to this Poozeum in Williams Arizona.

I'm a disabled veteran with PTSD & said my dog was a service dog & not a pet. He called me a bitch & said his wife was allergic, which I informed him that per the ADA allergies is not an excuse for denying a service animal. Again he called me a bitch & said my dog wasn't wearing a vest. I also informed him per the ADA service dogs aren't required to have signage. I couldn't even disclose the 2 question rule as he postured & called me names. At one point I was trying to pull up the law for him but he physically tried to push me out of the building. Once he pushed me off he slammed the garage door to make sure he could pick & choose who could come in. As I was leaving a Yelp review there were several other patrons who said during COVID he denied them access if they were wearing masks. Another said he denied due to race. So this owner seems to have no issues breaking the ADA multiple times. So I filed an ADA claim against him with the DOJ. Others should follow suit. Edit: came back when door was opened (he thought I wasn't going to come back) to take a picture of his allergy & no pets sign. Wife was sitting there unaffected of my service dog being on the other side of the building for 5-10 min which her husband claimed she'd die if my service dog stepped foot in that establishment.
