Showed up with my service dog, everyone was great and friendly. Explained my issue of my hair being butchered the last couple times, showed a couple pictures and boom, they got to work. And like a great barber they asked after they cut if the length was good or I wanted more instead of going short from the start. They listen, they're friendly, they have a good downtown location. He took his time and was very meticulous with a razor. Not to mention you can schedule appointments, so you if you don't want to wait hours for a cut, like you normally would - just schedule an appointment online. I was definitely pleased when I got out of the chair as the cut and even the price was similar to what I had got done/paid back home. Unless something crazy happens with a future cut, I will probably be going here, until I no longer work in the area.

I got my typical high fade with scissors on the top. She finished the cut so quick in ten minutes. It could have been faded a bit better and one side was uneven she had to fix. It looked okay in the mirror. When I got home I went to style it and the hair on the top was all one length and not layered. I had to fix it myself, so it wasn't so goofy looking. The cut was only $10 and probably got a $10 cut. I would go back if I was in a hurry.

It's a standard military barber shop that has about eight chairs but most of the time you find anywhere between 2-6 barbers in there... depending on the historical demand. They do have a small TV on the wall but it's usually local cable, so be ready to tune into some Maury and Steve Wilkos during the day. There are other alternatives like the prison Barber, however, this PX Barber usually gets the job done. I recommend it either way.
