I found Misty Mountain Plumbing through Apple Maps (I think). Susan in their office was terrific at communicating with me every step of the way from my inquiry and scheduling through billing and payment. Plumbing technician Eric Kessler evaluated the situation and made his recommendation. We agreed and he immediately acquired what was needed to complete the job, including pulling in his helper/son Zach to assist with moving water heaters, etc. They were thorough, courteous, and explained well. Price was fair and they got to us promptly. We do recommend Misty Mountain Plumbing and would use them again.

Jimmy started off really great. He responded quickly and pricing was fair. But when there was a…read moreproblem that his crew created, he completely ghosted me. I have called and texted for weeks with no response. I was really surprised as he was so nice and responsive up until then. So disappointed that I have to pay someone else to fix the mess he left in my back yard. It just doesn't seem fair. Sorry Jimmy, but I won't be recommending you to my friends anymore. I finally got a response from Hannah at Georgia Mountain Plumbing and someone came out the next day and fixed the problem.

I hired this company to remove my vanity and toilet so new tilework could be installed in my…read morebathroom. I also had them repair an outdoor hose bib that was damaged by frost. We had confirmed a specific time for their arrival, and I had carpenters standing by so they could close up the wall after the plumbing repair. Unfortunately, the plumbers were running late. I kept getting told they were "on their way," so my carpenters waited around for hours. In the end, they showed up nearly 4 hours late, and my carpenters had already left. Because of that delay, the carpenters had to improvise and return on another day, which affected the quality of the siding repair -- it didn't turn out as clean as it could have if the plumbers had arrived on time and worked with my carpenters. During the hose bib repair, Jimmy suggested that I install a bleeder valves for my outdoor shower line, which I agreed to -- but it was never done. I paid them in full to return and reinstall the vanity and toilet after the tilework was finished. When they completed that job, I discovered the toilet wasn't properly secured to the flange and moved when used. I texted Jimmy, who said he would come back to fix it, but after asking a second time and being ignored, I ended up purchasing a tool and tightening it myself. After spending $800, I was expecting better service. This is a vacation home, so I wasn't there in person and had to rely on their professionalism -- which, unfortunately, was lacking. While I've had worse experiences with contractors in the area, this one certainly didn't make my good list. I would not hire them again.

I didn't understand the structure of my system (next to a river) that required additional tanks. The techs (Bobby and Kristen) walked me through the process and suggested adding "risers" to the system to make future maintenance easier. This required digging with shovels due to the tank's placement. They found both caps quickly, performed the inspection, added the "risers ", replaced the removed dirt All as planned and on time.

They thoroughly explained what needed to be done, gave us a quote, and got right to work. Due to the location of the pipes and tank, the job required quite a bit of sawing and digging - work that I suspect not every septic service would do. Bobby and Triston worked hard all day. They were friendly and considerate of our property. They worked for two full days Recommendation was to replace the main water out flow pipe from the house to the septic tank. They stated the water flow was abnormally slow and eventually sewage/water would back up into our basement. To replace the main pipe they had to saw thru 5 t0 7" of patio concrete to access the pipe for replacement. They were 100% correct the pipe from the house and under the concrete slab was originally installed incorrectly and was a major issue. Billy and Tristin was totally considerate, polite and professional. Their quote for this complicated job was extremely fair. I 100% recommend them to resolve all septic or plumbing issues.
