Very disappointing. Awful customer service. It started out by our guide and another hunter shooting domestic pigs that were very tame right in front of my 8 year old son. He kept asking "why did he should those pigs? They were farm pigs. They followed us back for the corn." Not a very good way to teach him about the sportsmanship of hunting. The guide then left and returned around 11:30. He took my son back to the ranch at this point and my wife took him for a ride around the town. This was also the last time I would see the guide. He let me sit in a blind from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm all day by myself. At around 7:00pm the owner's son, who was a staff member and not a paying customer, shoots a wild boar 50 ft away from me. When I told him he shot right in front of me he informed me that he knew I was there and he didn't shoot at me. I then texted the guide and asked to leave but he never showed because he was busy hunting himself. I then left in disgust but paid in full begrudgingly. I would not recommend this place and a warning to those that they also have a ranch in Illinois called Promised Land Ranch. read more
