The quality looks fine it's just that the pieces are tad... been-there-seen-that. Some of the pieces look like they could be in a vintage 80's shop which I imagine would appeal to a lot of people give the current trends taking us back to the decade. The store itself is fairly dull. Dark with no stand out features. I do like the mini palms lining the outside window. I don't shop for men's clothing often but from a quick peak it looks like you could pick up some pretty simple, well tailored suits here. Staff are quite standoffish.

Located in the giant Warringah Mall, General Pants is home to an amalgamation of Australian and international brands of a cool bent. From these generally rad brands come bangin' threads that are usually a little left of centre, a little bit cool - if you're into what I've termed 'ironic chic', then General Pants is for you. Oversized Norweigan sweaters? Tick. Pre-ripped, pre-faded jeans? Tick. Knits that are longer at the back than the front? Tick tick tick. The clothes are generally pretty good quality, and are not too dear - more expensive than Supre for sure, but by no means outrageous. General Pants also stocks shoes - Warringah Mall's home of Chuck Taylor's has a range of cool and comfy type shoes. It also has accessories to go with your mandatory thick-rimmed glasses. With stuff for both men and women, General Pants is a great place to have a look if you're sick of the stuff in every other shop at the mall.

Man I wish I bought an apartment in this area 10 years ago, I'd be Australia's richest man right now. With Zara, Uniqlo, Top Shop and now H&M there's global fashion up the wazoo down Chatty way these days. This H&M is big, there's no homewares section but if you're looking for clothes you're well and truly covered, we're talking stumble-out-with-16-outfits type shopping, and they've kept the price points hella cheap (unlike, say, Sephora. Oh yes, we know about you, Sephora. For shame). Go. Splurge. There's even some limited edition shopping bags for the true believers.
