The game quality is not that great unfortunately the best games are at the bar with a progressive BPD game that returns around 98% other than that the entire casino floor is full of 97% or worse return games. It uses the true rewards players club which is decent and always has something on offer but then again its much more successful sister property Pahrump Nugget has this players club as well so why come here? I couldn't see any restaurants open while I was there either. What bumps the review up a bit is that the bartender was friendly and I had a pretty decent cocktail there. Overall would recommend going to their other property until they change the game quality and give more incentives to stay and play there.

Check-in itself was quick and…read moreeasy, though I will say the front desk agent was quite loud when reading out our room number and explaining where to park in the lobby. If anyone else had been standing in the lobby I would have asked to be moved, that's just a basic safety concern. The room was nice with the shower stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The sink had tissues, hand soap, hand lotion, and a hair dryer. There was also a mini fridge in the room. No smoke smell despite the ash trays between each room. The front desk was honestly the recurring weak point of our stay. At 4AM on our first night, a guest tied their dog to their car and the barking went on for about 30 minutes straight. When we called down, they told us we weren't the first complaint but didn't seem to have a plan for handling it. Eventually it stopped on its own but it didn't leave us feeling like anyone was working on a solution. On another occasion we asked about their EV charger and they seemed genuinely unaware they even had one, and couldn't offer much help when we let them know it was broken. We also stopped by late one evening just to ask for spoons after grabbing ice cream and were told we'd have to wait until the restaurant opened in the morning. Small thing, but it added to the pattern. On the brighter side, the continental breakfast on our last morning was better than expected. We got there about 30 minutes before it ended and were impressed that scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits, and gravy were all still fully stocked. The pool looked nice, there's virtual poker at the bar, and the water bottle filling station in the lobby was a convenient touch. The dog area has a good patch of grass and seemed well maintained, just watch out for the rose bushes nearby. One thing I feel I should mention for the sake of other guests: I was called a homophobic slur by another hotel guest during our stay. The hotel itself wasn't responsible for that, but it felt important to note.

What a beautiful view. The restaurant served some of the best food we have ever eaten. There's a very small casino section, a very small bar, a nice sitting area and a minimart type store. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a really nice size pool and hot tub. The pool was too chilly for me but the hot tub was very hot and relaxing after our hike that day. It's conveniently located near a lot of attractions. I understand they used to have a steak house and I wish they still did. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I did find it a bit odd our first morning that housekeeping knocked on our door. We told them we were going out and they could come in and could we get extra towels. When we came back 4 hours later, our room hadn't been cleaned and beds were unmade. I called the front desk and asked if this was normal? I told them that I don't make my bed at home and that I wasn't about to make it there. Told them we were going out again and please have them come back and take care of it. They did. I would definitely like to go back again one day. Lovely get away spot.

Here's what got me negatively- Things hotel can control - I had a room on the bottom floor. I opened the blinds to get some natural light in the room. There is no screen to prevent anyone from seeing in and of course someone with their dog walked by right then. One of the coffee machines was full of used grounds so quit working at breakfast. There is always a line of people to get coffee and this made it worse. They don't have coffee in the rooms for environmental purposes which I understand but they should have all coffee machines up and running and kept up with since there isn't coffee in the rooms. Things hotel can't control but made for a not so great experience. Went out and sat on a chair to enjoy the cooler evening weather after check in and a man walked by and relived himself on the wall. There was someone above me wearing hard soled shoes who kept walking back and forth that night and of course again the next morning and I got to listen to the neighbors bed next door to me hitting the wall for about 20 min. Overall not a bad hotel necessarily just a bad stay for me there. Easy on off road access and higher moderately priced.

We had been to Pahrump a few years ago and had picked up a casino card for this casino but had no idea where it was or what the 4-letter code was. The really nice "lady" at the counter for players cards gave me a new card and then directed me to the person working in the caged area for a new pen. That was a disaster. I explained what I needed, she picked up her cellphone (to assist?) and then started loudly spouting all sorts of 4 letter words at the phone as she was having difficulty logging in. When all those f-words, etc., weren't enough then she started giving it the finger too. Finally I took my card back and went back to the lady at the players club table and told her. I'm not sure if anything happened. I stayed a bit and left. There are plenty other casinos in town. I guess that's one thing I'll remember this establishment for and it certainly isn't customer service if you have to deal with the little female in the cage.
