He is always up for a challenge and his calm demeanor during a crisis is always reassuring Between him and his Vet Tech, Kathy Daily and dear, sweet Brad Sutter, heck; the entire staff! I always have a great visit with my dogs. My dogs love going to see them!! So many Veterinarians these days work 9 - 5 and tell you to call the emergency vet if you have a problem after hours. I haven't had to do it myself but I have heard stories of Dr. Davy and his staff showing up in the middle of the night to do emergency surgery to save someone's pet. He has met me on a Sunday to comfort me in the loss of one of my dogs. This is why I drive 35 minutes from Wichita to El Dorado to have my dogs seen. Wichita area veterinarians, you need to take note. This is how you create a loyal following; by caring enough about the animals and their people to make time to provide comfort and aid. By being honest in the diagnosis, treatment and your ability to provide it. Don't tell people what they want to hear even when the truth hurts. Dr. Davy doesn't try to tell you what you want to hear or sugar coat it. He tells the truth as gently as he can and leaves it up to you to deal with it with what help he can provide. I'm so greatful for her and her staff and all the help they've given my pets and me. Almost all of my pets have gotten old and had I known Dr Beth's recommendations earlier in their lives they would have probably not suffered as much debilitating problems. As it is though I've managed to keep them going and happy for much longer than I normally would have expected. I thought I would have had to say goodbye to my Giant schnauzer 2 years ago due to severe joint problems but she is back up and moving better than I'd seen in years. They have gently helped my little 18 year old Italian greyhound through a couple of injuries with amazing outcomes and minimal suffering. Dr Beth calls him Iron dog. My 16 year old cat has had to start thyroid medication and I was dreading having to give her pills twice a day but Dr Beth offered a wonderful solution where I just have to put a drop of medication on her ear a couple times per day. They're all doing so wonderful under her care and I'm confident they are doing better and have lived longer because of her. I've witnessed amazing recovery in other people's pets as well from her treatments and recommendations. They quickly got us back with no fuss and the staff was so nice. I was nervous as my dogs teeth were in bad shape and have been shamed before by vets. Dr Scott was lovely. Super caring and explained everything her conditions could possibly mean. He did a thorough exam and answered all my questions. I'm thrilled with our experience at this vet, my dog has extraction scheduled in a week and I feel much more relaxed now.

We have taken her to Manhattan and had her examined and basically were told it was what it was. Other vets agreed. She recently took a turn for the worse and was to the point she could barely walk. Now this dog really never hit the floor as my mom carried her everwhere but my mom was devasted and very concerned for the quality of life she was going to have. This dog is her heart and soul so we wanted to try everything we could before making "that decision". We had both heard about Dr. Solomon so she made an appointment. He checked the dog over carefully and told my mom he could do a surgery to fix her legs. The dog had her surgery in January and now she is a demon child. She runs, plays and prances like the diva she always has been. My mom had such great results I took my dog who had torn his ACL and had surgery done at another veterinarian but was not healing. We found a severe internal infection in the surgery site and after 2 rounds of very powerful antibiotics, the decision was made to undo the ACL surgery. Dr. Solomon performed the surgery and my dog is doing fantastic. He was just released to normal activity. Although my dog's knee is not perfect due to scarring from the surgeries and infection, he is pain-free, happy and (mostly) a four legged dog. I highly recommend Dr. Solomon and his practice. They are kind, helpful and very knowledgeable. My dog is a rescue and could get very grumpy when messed with. I always put a muzzle on him when examining the knee. He has never offered to bite, but the growls are enough to make me cautious. Dr. Solomon got down on the floor with him and talked to him on each visit. On our visit yesterday, no muzzle was needed, no growls, no anxiety. There were treats however! I know this review is long but I couldn't make it shorter and say what I wanted to. I LOVE THEM!
