I have been here twice while visiting Andover/Wichita Kansas and they are do amazing work. Our dog Kora, a miniature red poodle loves coming here (unlike most places). She constantly leaves very happy. The groomers here take very good care of her and she leaves smelling amazing and they follow the notes to make sure we get what we want out of her appointment. They are also very reasonably priced and so we will continue to come here because every time she gets cut here it's like getting a brand new puppy :-)

I bet he likes the dogs best... The underwater treadmill water is clean and smells good. The other clinic in town that has a treadmill leaves your dog smelling awful, so don't go there unless you want to give him two baths and still have the whole house smell funny. Countryside takes time working with your dog and showing you what to do at home, and they encourage you to stay with your dog which Hank loves. I'm so glad I found them for my sweet older boy with a degenerative spinal problem, they have given me hope when the other clinic was uncaring and cold.

If anyone is looking for a place to entrust your pet, this is it. Dr. Davy Harkins is amazing. He takes on all critters, big and small. He is always up for a challenge and his calm demeanor during a crisis is always reassuring Between him and his Vet Tech, Kathy Daily and dear, sweet Brad Sutter, heck; the entire staff! I always have a great visit with my dogs. My dogs love going to see them!! So many Veterinarians these days work 9 - 5 and tell you to call the emergency vet if you have a problem after hours. I haven't had to do it myself but I have heard stories of Dr. Davy and his staff showing up in the middle of the night to do emergency surgery to save someone's pet. He has met me on a Sunday to comfort me in the loss of one of my dogs. This is why I drive 35 minutes from Wichita to El Dorado to have my dogs seen. Wichita area veterinarians, you need to take note. This is how you create a loyal following; by caring enough about the animals and their people to make time to provide comfort and aid. By being honest in the diagnosis, treatment and your ability to provide it. Don't tell people what they want to hear even when the truth hurts. Dr. Davy doesn't try to tell you what you want to hear or sugar coat it. He tells the truth as gently as he can and leaves it up to you to deal with it with what help he can provide. He is not a miracle worker but he is damn close.

When I took her to the Lazy P, I was nervous at first because I had never boarded Lola before. All of my fears subsided when I met Gloria, the owner. She showed me where Lola would be staying (in her own deluxe suite) and I saw the large play area where the dogs play together. When I left Lola, I felt completely reassured that my pup would be treated like one of Gloria's own. Lola was supplied with a dog bed since I forgot to bring hers. She had plenty of toys to play with in her pen and outside in the turf area! When I returned to get Lola she was so happy and hardly wanted to leave Gloria's side! I HIGHLY recommended this faculty for all of your pet boarding needs!
