Anyway we gave her the ear meds and now she has serious issues eating and is semi lethargic 2 weeks after her vet visit. We called and they said we're busy you'll have to call someone else. My cats old vet in town closed two years and we have been taking her here since then. Simply, this…read moreis the only vet left in Van Wert. Still, this place is excellent and my most recent experience is a good example on why. As stated I recently brought my cat in to the vet. This is because about a month ago, she developed these odd looking bumps all around her neck. She was scratching all the time and i wasn't sure if they also hurt, but the bumps were really huge. I remember feeling frustrated and overwhelmed as I was already taking care of a sick family member. I called the vet, and they gave me an appointment for later in the week. So i took her once Friday, late afternoon to the vet to get her checked out. After doing her check up and seeing her bumps, i was told it was some kind of infection. I was prescribed some antibiotics for my cat. Vet is friendly and the check up and meds were very affordable. I took my cat home and started her on weeks of orally giving her antibiotics. My cat, Lynx, was not very happy with me during this time but ultimately her bumps vanished. I was glad to have my cat both happy and healthy again.

If Dogs Could Talk, They'd All Be Saying "Thank You, Jeremy!"…read more It's not every day you meet someone who seems born to communicate with dogs--but Jeremy Dulebohn? He could probably teach them to speak fluent English if they had the anatomy for it. Jeremy and his team at Dulebohn Service Dogs are nothing short of miracle workers with fur and four legs. Jeremy trained our first service dog, and to this day we refer to that dog as the most amazing canine on the planet (and we say that knowing Lassie, Balto, and Toto are out there somewhere shaking their heads). Our second service dog--trained under Jeremy's guidance--is amazing as well and he is currently training our third dog. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if our next dog starts doing taxes next April. That's how well-trained and intuitive he is. What makes Jeremy and his staff extraordinary isn't just their skill--it's their kindness, patience, and absolute consistency. They use positive reinforcement with such finesse that even the most distracted pup becomes a focused, confident partner. I've had the joy of watching Jeremy work, and let me tell you--it's like watching dog whispering, but with fewer secrets and more belly rubs. Jeremy's whole family is involved, and it shows. Their love and respect for animals--and for the families they support--radiates from everything they do. They aren't just training dogs. They're changing lives. If you're looking for someone to train your service dog with excellence, heart, and maybe a few joyful tail wags--look no further than Dulebohn Service Dogs. We are forever grateful to Jeremy and his incredible team. Honestly, our only complaint is that we can't clone them.

However, they are very compassionate regarding animals. They were so sweet and caring to my kittens I've brought in. They explained the issues, and treatment, along with follow-ups. I will say their spay/neuter prices are steep, however they do give care to your pet while they recoup from their surgeries, unlike some of the cheaper places that use local anesthetic only, and send them out the door. Heidt doesn't do that, I've been impressed with their business for the last couple years, in fact, I've sent more people to go to them than my normal vet I use. If I could mske them my primary care place for my kitties, I would in a heartbeat. Just a wonderful place.
