Just a few more days left until my son graduates from 5th grade…read more We have had our share of ups and downs here. But at the end of the day - or 5th grade we have had an amazing experience here. My son started here at a very young age and utilized several of the services. We had speech and occupational therapy. He was in a self contained classroom. He had Mrs. Neville and Mrs. Bishop. Both of these ladies took care of my son like he was their own. Mrs. Dillard in the kitchen put him to work delivering breakfast carts and he enjoyed that more than they realize. When he had behavioral issues Mr. Wolfe stepped up and helped him earn some rewards back. We have enjoyed our time and experiences here and will miss these ladies like no other!

This is a French Language school within JCPS. Today is Tiger Trot Day! One of the biggest fundraisers for the school. St. Matthew's has several teachers that have won teacher of the year. There is an excellent music/drama department!! We are looking forward to the next 5 years here!!!

If Vuitton won't, Louisville. Or is that Lousyville? You decide. Meanwhile Texas and California will secede. Pretty grand and imposing Community College right in the heart of Louisville which overlooks the YMCA where I work out, so I always end up stopping in here or meeting people from here or even working out with people from here for one reason or another. It takes up most of the parking around here but that's okay. It's a nice old building and if I was going to go to Community College I'd like to come to a place like this for sure. It actually legit deadass looks like a university which is why it's so cool and it's right in the heart of everything in this small city.

But she got into the band, and it's been all good this year. OK. She's only a freshman, so I only have a year to go by. I will update this review as we go along. But, as a parent, everything about AHS has felt good as we moved into the community. The principal as good; her teachers have been good. I mean, our fears of transitioning from private to public school were high and serious. But, it's all been fine. Band has been great for our daughter. AHS is a great school, IMO.
