I don't think I can live without my monthly (or more often sometimes) massages!…read more I was having major back problems when I first met my therapist. I had taken pain meds, been to a chiropractor, etc. It was also giving me migraines. She got me in, even though she was really supposed to be done for the day, just because she didn't want me to continue to be in pain. She worked on my back for a while and couldn't find anything. Then she had me turn over and found a muscle on my lower rib that was referring the pain. It made no sense to me but she was completely right and fixed it immediately. Since that time she has fixed shoulder pain and helped me rehab through frozen shoulder. I commute a long way and she had helped with sciatica caused by driving so much. She also does a great job on my neck and lower skull that is helping with migraines. The most important thing is that she listens carefully when you tell her what you like, what you don't, and what's going on with your body. She can teach you stretches and help you break bad habits. She is really good at helping you improve things yourself to try to prevent that pain in the future. I honestly consider this a medical treatment at this point because it had made me not need pain meds anymore and not miss as much work with headaches. UPDATE: it took me a whole year to work up the courage to try the float pod. My son did it and loved it, but I was still nervous!! It definitely helped that they explained it all to me before hand. It's very simple, but it was still reassuring to hear how to work the lights, music, etc. They have "pool noodle" type floats and headrests if you want them. I used the headrest at first but then decided I didn't need it. They also have earplugs if you don't want water in your ears. And a hair dryer for after you shower if you want it! It was NOTHING like I expected. I thought it would be like floating in a pool, because I thought your body was relaxed when you do that. Nope! You literally do NO work in the float pod. The salt content lifts you up! It really does feel like you're kind of suspended in mid-air. I couldn't imagine what I would think about the whole time, but it didn't matter because I fell asleep within minutes. I would wake up periodically and just notice how relaxed I felt and then go back to sleep. I wish I could explain better. I don't like to sleep during massages because I don't want to "miss" it. But this was different. It was a very restful and relaxing hour! I expected to be groggy when I got out, but I wasn't. I felt great, even though I had been asleep. I felt perfectly awake right away. My joints felt a lot of relief from pain I've had recently. I thought the room would be cold when I got out but it wasn't. There was never any cold from the pod, to the shower, to the room itself. It was all very comfortable. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided, along with really nice fluffy towels and washcloths. (They smell good too! I need to see what kind of detergent they use!) If you are claustrophobic I don't think it will be a problem. It wasn't for me-- my son gave a very good analogy. It is the equivalent of being in the back of a minivan with all the seats taken out. When you sit on the floor, you don't feel claustrophobic because there is so much space around you. The float pod is about that same size. (Haven't measured--just guessing) I wish I hadn't waited so long to try it. I will definitely do it on a regular basis now!!

Dr. Madeline and Mr. Kim are fantastic!!! If you are experiencing pain, this is the place for you…read more They both focus on your total body and well being. I have been treated by them for years and have learned so much about the mind/body connection. I suffer from systemic lupus and through Acupuncture and massage, I've experienced so much relief. They don't just treat you, they offer advice and education to help you be as healthy as possible. They are so warm, caring and compassionate. They have treated my whole family at one time or another. After my most recent treatment, my mother said she hadn't seen me that relaxed in many years. It's true, chronic pain wears you down and they worked together to plan a treatment that would help me. After recently experiencing an unexpected death in our family, they altered their treatment plan to help with the physical and emotional stress. I can not say enough good things about their knowledge and professionalism in helping to relieve any stress you have, emotional and physical. I can't imagine getting through the last few years without them. If you're experiencing pain, stress, headache's, backaches, any condition that western medicine is not fixing, I highly re comment giving them a call and getting a treatment. You won't be sorry.

I've seen images of my spine enough times that I pretty much know what they're going to tell me already. For the most part it was the same for this visit. However, I did have a new injury that does need adjusting. (Don't go on water slide rides when you're 63!) Dr Johnson was pleasant and friendly. I didn't feel like I was getting the "big sell" that I've experienced many times in the past with chiropractors. I'm not saying that regular visits wouldn't be helpful. But I'm the person who is mostly interested in just getting out of pain. We have limited resources at this time, so that was also a factor. But his prices are so incredibly reasonable. Which is awesome because My situation definitely involves a number of visits. The office was clean the bathroom was clean and nicely decorated. He did my adjustment and then put me on what I can only say is similar to a TENS unit. That was a new experience. Then slathered me down with some kind of icy hot stuff. I feel like I got more care for my money than I've gotten at any other chiropractor before. I walked out of the office knowing that this is a business owned by people with integrity. That's hard to find these days.
