I ordered two boards for my 40th birthday celebration in October 2021. Bianca Machin, the owner, also seemed pleasant enough to work with and I wanted to support a local small business. However, my experience did not go as planned. I emailed Bianca the week of the event to confirm delivery and received confirmation from her. However, 30 mins before the event, the boards were still not delivered. When I reached to Bianca, she informed me she got the day confused and will not be able to delivery the boards as planned. This was mortifying, as I had to last minute scramble to find other accommodations for food right before the event. Bianca reimbursed me the cost of the food and promised the delivery of two free boards for a future event. Since then I have asked Bianca to schedule the delivery of the 2 boards on several occasions and she never made herself available. Finally I was able to book her for an event in December and again confirmed with her the week of the event. I reached out to her the day before the event only to learn she will not be able to deliver the boards after all. Bianca did not even bother to reach out to me in advance to let me know she will need to cancel the booking, and I wonder if she would have just been a no show if I did not reach out myself. I was hoping Bianca would honor her commitment but she did not do so- she offered a $50 gift certificate in return but I informed her I can not rely on her booking Bc she has never followed through, cancelled last minute and left me scrambling to find other arrangements for food. I will not use her service again, even if she offers free services because she is not reliable. Hopefully Bianca will learn from this and improve her customer service in the future.

I contacted customer service, but they were mocking and made accusatory remarks. I had been using this company for almost a year now and this is the 2nd time similar faulty delivery had happened. Previously they handle it pretty good but the recent one just blow us up. I do understand no one is perfect but they didn't even apologized for the inconvenience and mock us instead. When I arrived I was informed there had been an issue with a portion of my order. The owner did come out and speak with me personally face-to-face and apologized.. they were willing to deliver my order to me. I respectfully declined and opted to wait. She did accommodate me by providing complimentary shrimps and cornbread. Despite being a little irritated (you may ask well why a five star review) I have a high level of respect to the principle of honesty to the customers because they could have sold me a bad batch of crabs and not said anything. My other loves is the fact that they bring your food to your car and each time I called I was able to speak with someone. A lot of crab businesses in the DMV area a representative is not available by phone that is willing to speak with the customers. Overall I really enjoy patronizing this business and will return.

After calling to let them know you have arrived you hop out of your car and someone hands you your food through a pick up window. I'd order directly from their website next time so they get 100% of the funds. This is a Black-owned and operated family owned business that opened during the pandemic.
