7/5/24 - about a 1/4 mile walk from the overrated fish market. They have original and specialized donuts. The most expensive was only about 40 NOK or about $4 US dollars. We grabbed a lemon, vanilla and a raspberry filled donut. A total of 140 NOK or about $14 US dollars. Digging into these babies now and can't wait. Check out the photos. Also, very nice service from a. Young gentleman. Wow, the best pastry I've had in Norway. Nice and soft and lots of filling. It is full of goodness, my favorite was in this order, Vanilla, Lemon then Rasberry. We all cut these up and tasted them all. LOL, I'm too thin to eat all of these but I would if I could. read more

My friends and I walked past this shop Sunday night and saw that they were sold out. This already was a sign that we were in for a tasty treat! We came back on Tuesday and opted for a six pack. It was quite nice that you could mix and match between their original and signature donuts. The owner behind the counter went above and beyond with walking through what each type of donut was as well as his own recommendations. That's when we found out that they just opened this past Saturday - just in time for us to try while we're out on holiday. I opted for a crème brûlée donut which was just brought out after being freshly baked in the back and a raspberry jam. The raspberry jam was a nice classic donut with fresh pieces of raspberry in it and the dough was nice and fluffy. But the highlight of our visit had to be the crème brûlée donut. This donut was unique and man it lived up to the owners hype. Upon biting it, there's a nice crunch from the sugar on top. And the cream inside was nice and light, not too sweet. The raspberry on top was the perfect touch to complement the flavor. Highly recommend checking out this new shop. I will definitely be returning next time I'm back in Bergen! read more
