Fast forward a year later in 2016 and I'm having my taxes done by a different private accountant only to find out that my taxes from the prior year were MAJORLY screwed up. First, the H&R Block preparer didn't file my state taxes in AL (I had a rental property there) and put that I made 50% more in rental income than I actually made. As a result I got next to nothing in my returns. When it was found out by the new accountant a year later I called to get this corrected with H&R Block. It took quite a while to get the tax prep fees refunded but that's all they did. I also had to pay another accountant to file an ammendment to my 2014 taxes for their mistake and still haven't gotten the refund back yet. It's now July 2016 and I filed in early April. I missed out on 2k that I could have invested or used. I won't be returning and would advise you not to make the same mistake I did by having my taxes done here!
