Made 2cnd payment in person & asked about reports, associate said the office will call me, no response. Snail mailed 3rd payment with question about reports, no response. Gave up asking on the 4th payment. Guess I will make the last 5th payment with my 2cnd Social security check and rack it up on lessons learned. I should of seen the red flag of communication when the signed contract 7-23-19 that was emailed was never opened in months.It was finally processed in November 2019. Note: always remember there is no charge for legal fees if no recovery but YOU are still liable for expenses regardless of outcome!

I reached out to The Barnes Firm and spoke with Mr. Michael Cooper to see if we even had a case. From the beginning, he was confident and told us we absolutely did. My daughter attended physical therapy, although not as frequently as recommended because she is a very active high school student with a busy schedule. Even so, I made sure she continued doing therapy exercises at home. Despite the limited number of therapy visits, Mr. Cooper still worked extremely hard for my daughter and was able to secure a very generous settlement. He was persistent throughout the process and refused to accept the lowball offers that were initially presented. What really stood out to me was his communication. Mr. Cooper always kept us informed and responded quickly whenever I emailed him. That level of professionalism and dedication meant a lot to us. He did not file the case in the correct jurisdiction . I am a client that gave him the address and zip code along with the copy of the lease and the name of the tenant. Micheal got paid for his services and I even paid him to hire the sheriff to evict the tenant. The sheriff department too, took the fees and never said that the property is not in their jurisdiction . When I asked the sheriff to come to the property and Evict the tenant, only then they told me that the property was not in their jurisdiction, and they can not do any think about it . The case has to be filed allover again. Micheal was supposed to file the case in Kenmore and not in Buffalo. or vise versa. Micheal refused to take responsibility for his work and he is redoing the work the proper way. He wasted 3 month of my time and his fees and the sheriff fees for this. Now I have to start all over again. His lack of knowledge and experience is going to cost me another three months of lost rent and another attorney and the sheriff department fees all over again . Hiring Micheal dwan was a big mistake. He doesn't know his job.
