I walked in to a friendly staff who were eager to recommend some other treats to pick up as well. Besides the boudin balls, my partner and I purchased a spicy bowl, a Oreo cheesecake cup, and a Oreo brownie. The boudins came in two options: one filled with pepper jack cheese and one without. Let me stress to you that these boudin balls are huge!!!! I really enjoyed trying them with the side of cheese sauce. The spicy bowl was extremely hot with so much pickled flavoring. The boiled eggs inside were the best part. The side of chips for it was a great pairing to tone down the spices. The Oreo cheesecake was pretty tasty. I would love to try more desserts in the future. The only issue I had here was that the Oreo brownie that we purchased wasn't in our bag when we left . We called them and they were quite gracious to let us pick it up the next day!

This place is definitely nicer than I expected for the area. We came here for the Crawfish Festival…read moreand this place in Henderson is very close. It's a small place, locally run. Definitely not a hotel chain kind of place. The rooms are spacious from what I saw. We had two double beds. The bathroom was large and there was a big tub. It sits right on Bayou Amy and you can watch alligators swimming by from the porch. There aren't many outlets for you to plug your electronics in. They're mostly behind the bed. When we went to try to put the plug behind there, the headboard fell off of the wall. It was just barely hanging on this piece of cork board... The problem is that the walls are super thin. You can hear everything from the room next to you; everything they're saying and watching on the tv. So if you're unlucky and are next to people who stay up late...we'll you aren't sleeping. You can also here the music from the bands playing in the club next door. There are doors that attach the rooms, so I guess if you have a large party you can visit each other. When we left for the day, we didn't put the do not disturb sign on our door, but they still didn't come to make the beds. The free breakfast is just a couple of cereal options, coffee, orange juice and an assortment of packaged pastries you can choose from. The craziest thing about this place is the cats. The parking lot is completely crawling with cats, like 30 of them. Everyone tries to feed them so they stick around. They're very friendly and sweet, but be careful because they might try to follow you inside. It is convenient that there's a bar and a restaurant attached. There is a lot of construction right when you get off of the interstate, so be careful that you're GPS doesn't try to reroute you like it tried to do to us.

I spoke with someone at ten to 6 this evening in need of a last minute spot in Eunice, and made clear I would be coming from New Orleans, a three hour drive. This person was helpful, booked me for the night... and said NOTHING about being unable to check in to the inn after 8pm. When I arrived at 9:45 after driving a few hours with my pup, I called the after hours number on the door and was told nastily that they were away for the weekend-- when I explained my situation and asked why someone had booked us just hours before, I was told to "stop talking over her," that there was one person she could check with... and then she said "ya know what?" and hung up on me. A few minutes later, I got a call from another number, and a man told me he was another owner and asked how I was. When I told him not great and started explaining... I realized I was ON A THREE-WAY CALL when the woman burst on, cursed me out, and ended the call. These people are a reallll class act. And by class act, I mean I think they were held back in 6th grade and have been there ever since. Rude and crude!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was incredibly disappointing…read more I completely understand that substitutions are sometimes necessary in the floral industry. My issue isn't that a few flowers were replaced, it's that the arrangement delivered looked nothing like the one I ordered. The advertised arrangement had a soft, airy, garden-style design with a very specific color palette and composition. The arrangement that was delivered was completely different. It was dominated by large sunflowers, burgundy chrysanthemums, pink stock, and green hydrangeas, flowers that dramatically changed the entire look and feel. If I had wanted that style of arrangement, I would have ordered it. When you purchase flowers, you're paying for the florist's design and artistry, not simply a vase filled with flowers of comparable value. Similar dollar value does not mean it's the same product. What disappointed me even more was the complete lack of customer service. I called multiple times trying to speak with someone about the issue. My calls went unanswered and went straight to voicemail, and despite being told someone would follow up, no one ever did. Instead, I eventually received a vague text message saying that if certain flowers aren't available, they do their best to substitute them. That completely missed the point. The issue was never that substitutions were made, it was that the substitutions resulted in an arrangement that bore little resemblance to what was advertised. There was no attempt to acknowledge that concern or offer any meaningful resolution. My friend, being the kind and gracious person she is, thanked me and told me the flowers were beautiful. Of course she did - she appreciated the gesture behind them. But that doesn't change the fact that what I paid for and what was delivered were two very different products. I'll be posting side-by-side photos of the arrangement I ordered and the one that was delivered so others can decide for themselves. Do these arrangements honestly look alike? Do you believe the delivered arrangement reflects the premium product that was advertised? Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this florist. Between the completely different design, the lack of communication, and the unwillingness to make things right, this was not the level of service I expected from a professional florist.
