I visited ENT Associates due to a loss of smell and taste. After spending over $1,300 out of pocket, I left without a clear diagnosis. They suggested expensive options like $350 allergy shots and a CT scan, along with various other costly tests. Moreover, they required a follow-up visit, costing nearly $100 additionally, just to discuss the results in person, as they do not provide results over the phone. The results were normal. I'm so sad to have to update this review but I can honestly say my hope is that others will start clear of this doctor so you don't have the horrible experience we ended up having. After we took our girl in the first time, Donnelly said she had polyps and would need her tonsils out in a separate surgery. I was so impressed with him and his office staff that my daughter and husband made appts with him as well, and my husband went as far as to schedule a surgery. Anyway, at the first appt, my daughter asked if he could fix her hose which had been broken by a soccer ball a few years earlier. He said he would. He said she did NOT have a deviated septum. Just a clearly broken nose from the past. We immediately scheduled the surgery as we wanted her healed up for summer time. 2 days before her surgery (and after I had to go pay a huge upfront amount the the hospital) Donnelys office called and said they'd need to reschedule surgery because of a family issue. We thought this VERY bad form, and had already forked out the money to the hospital. My husband told them we were not ok with waiting another month, and they called back and asked us to go in 2 days earlier than scheduled- which was fine. We adjusted our work schedules again. Monday morning came and the doctor was an HOUR LATE. An HOUR! The nurses at Bravera were clearly disgusted and annoyed with him. When he did show up he seemed rushed, and the original anesthesiologist who had come to prep her was replaced as she had other surgeries now to be in. (Which was a bummer- the original one was VERY sweet to my nervous girl) I should note here, that my husband called the office 2 times to verify that her crooked nose WOULD be straightened and both time was told yes, that was in the surgery notes. Well, when my girl got out of surgery and came to she asked for a mirror and was shocked to find she still had a very crooked nose. The doctor also did not discharge her with ANY MEDS, nor ANY medication instructions (like for Tylenol ect.) Again, the nurses in post OP were very clearly irritated with him and told me to call their office before leaving. I called and left a message. It was 9am. By noon, I still had heard nothing back. I called again. Then my husband called twice. At 3pm I called a different number (he's part of a whole group of ENT's with offices everywhere) and finally they got someone at his office to return my call. Keep in mind, my kid had no meds that entire time. We also had changed her bandages and noticed there were no splints inside or outside her nose. (Clearly as her nose was still very visibly crooked.) After several phone calls with a nurse to get her meds prescribed to her, we finally went and picked them up. At 5pm! Are you kidding me? Totally unacceptable. At each follow up appt (we have had 4) they have charged us our co-pay as well as a "procedure fee" of $250 because he sticks a thing up her nose to look around. We received her bill the other day and it was laughable. $80,000 we were charged. Are you joking me? His excuse for her nose still being crooked was "oh, I meant I was fixing the inside of her nose, not the bone" which is total baloney, and even his nurse remembered our first appt where he told my girl he could do both the polyps and the bone straightening. This doctor made excuses all the way through this terrible experience. We would have saved her surgery for someone who could do BOTH PROCEDURES, because this was a huge waste of money for us. My husband ended up canceling his surgery (which was scheduled 2 weeks after my daughters) I recommend staying FAR AWAY from this doctor and the entire network that he is a part of. I am compelled to write this heads up/warning call because of the utter outrageous behavior of this Dr and his office and to do my part to bring it to the public's attention in any/every way I can. THIS CRIMINAL OFFICE NEEDS TO BE EXPOSED A bit of background: Retired law enforcement. In good standing. Served the public with respect and fairness, professionalism, and integrity. I was among the first responders that morning Sept 11, 2001 at Ground Zero. I literally lived, worked and breathed on that pile for many long months. As a result, I have been plagued with breathing issues/restricted airway that has been a long standing quality of life issue that I have been in search of ways to fix/resolve/find relief. I made a call to schedule a consult with Dr Donnelly's office, Spring Hill FL. Arrived on time for the 2:10 pm appt on 01/10/2019. Greeted desk person. My cordiality barely returned. I identified myself verbally as I put my name on the sign in sheet on counter. Packed waiting room. (Shared waiting room with dentist -weird setup, strange residential, off the beaten track location as well). I eventually found a seat. All walks of life but mostly elderly. I waited. And waited some more. Alas, no wifi to make the wait a bit more pleasant and tolerable. I should more clearly state there IS wifi (but not working/password locked) for the patient. After almost one hour of waiting I approached the counter and inquired. I was dismissed with a sneer, coupled with a "you're next". I'm growing somewhat more incredulous at this point but it didn't prepare me for what was to come. I again took my seat. 10 more minutes elapse. It is now well past 3 pm. A door opens and my name is finally called. I am told to take a seat in yet another waiting room. I ask (the also impolite/couldn't be bothered) woman employee how much more time will I have to wait here to finally see the Dr. She snaps at me, "I don't know. I don't know his schedule and how long it will be." I politely ask to find out, as now I am nearly about to get up and leave. I was quickly approaching the end of my rope. But still, always respectful, I asked once more if she could please find out and give me an idea of how much longer it would be to be seen. She doesn't give me a reply, turns and leaves room with a look of disdain attitude on her face, and not to return. Wow! What a place this is! And they call this a "health facility"??!! I waited a few moments longer and get up and leave. As I make my way out past the counter of the waiting room, I stated to the woman at the desk my intentions of leaving. I say something about how my time is important to me, how the office is clearly overbooking patients ($$$$) and how disrespectful this all has been. I got in my car thinking about this whole crazy waste of time and drove the almost hour ride home. I was expecting a phone call. An apology directly from the Dr himself (call me old-fashioned with my thinking.) That call never came. Actually no call ever came. Back to square one with my search for relief for my breathing. A short time later an envelope appears in my mailbox from "Select Physicians Alliance PL" out of Tampa area. It is a bill from Donnelly for $100.00 stating "NO SHOW FOR APPT" and also interestingly shows my "Insurance Company:United Healthcare Charge Status Processed" WHAT ?! !! This now begins an almost indescribable agonizing/futile waste of more of my precious time with telephone calls. Continuing insults from Donnelly's staff and billing company, Select Physician's Alliance. I did speak with a somewhat apologetic/ empathetic woman from this billing company who listened. She stated that she will call Donnelly's office and I that will receive a call from their office manager by "end of workday" and if I didn't, then she told me to "feel free to call back". That call never came. I called back Monday am and spoke with her again. Again, she appeared surprised and offered apologies when I told her that I was not called back. This time Joy offered a bit more information. She told me that Donnelly's staff billed me as a "NO SHOW" but that her records did indeed state that I was there. She again told me that I would be hearing from Donnelly's office manager by end of day. And once again offered assistance and to call back if I needed "further help" lol. Well, that folly of me calling went on for 6 separate calls/promises from Joy that I would be receiving a call back and that this $100.00 bill would be reversed. She agreed that it was insane I was getting billed when I was there and NO SERVICE was performed. To date, I have received 5 bills from Select Physician's Alliance. Each one more threatening than the next. Threatening report to credit agencies. After all of this abuse I am left with the only recourse of taking Donnelly to small claims court. *Edit: consulted professional counsel. In short, Donnelly and Select Phys All. will really regret this unethical behavior! read more

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I called two days in a row just to set an appointment, and still never had the chance. The first day I called while on my lunch break at work & they put me on hold for about 45min. I hung up and called back and their automated service said they were on lunch break and to call back in a hour. So I went back to work. The next day I called back and explained wht happened the day before and for some reason they were mad at me.!? So it ended up being a back and forth thing I never got my appointment. It was horrible, and considering this was a referral from my daughter's neurologist makes it more worse. read more

Go here if you want to waste time and money. Worst run office I have ever been been to. They have rescheduled my procedure 3 times. The third time was because they couldn't get the insurance to approve it in time. They've only had 6 months to get it approved but notified me the day before that they were having a problem. They said they were still trying and would let me know if they got approval prior to my procedure. Guess what, I never heard back and my appointment date has come and gone. This office is a classic example of a company using COVID as an excuse to be terrible at their job. read more

I understand the other ratings for Suncoast ENT. But they are not Dr. Donnelly. Dr. Donnelly is part of the group and is not responsible for the lack of courtesy and professionalism of the front office staff. He is a compassionate, personable highly skilled professional that has always treated me well and addressed all my issues competently. I agree the wait times can be ridiculous and the front desk staff have little to no personality. I believe that is why Dr. Donnelly has left the group to work with a more professional ENT group who ensure their front office staff know how to treat patients and communicate if there is a wait time. I do not feel it is appropriate to give the doctor a poor rating for the office staff, especially since he is not their employer but also an employee of the group. I do not hesitate to recommend Dr. Kevin Donnelly. Trust me he is wonderful and very good at his job. read more
