We called the number first time hung up on me, second time an automated reply "call you back" never did. Extremely unprofessional! Nathan & his team need a new profession! He wanted to charge us $250 to cancel. Never heard of that, so I said, "Let the listing run." I have heard not a word from this "agent" in 5.5 months. No updates. no marketing thoughts--nothing, nada, zip. We discovered an electrical problem. I emailed and texted him. We are 600 miles away. He has my hidden key in a lock box, so I can't get the electrician in. I told this "agent". He completely ignored me. Meanwhile, the house could burn down, and he obviously couldn't care less. Nobody should list with such a shoddy outfit. I learned my lesson.

Big Frank is an incredible realtor whether you're looking to buy or sell a house. I used him for…read moreboth and could not have been happier with the outcome. I hit Frank with about 8 houses I was interested in and we set out one afternoon. Ugh! I hated them all, but Frank asked the right questions and listened to my comments as we visited each home. By the end of the day, he knew what I wanted and took me to a home that was on the verge of coming on the market and it was exactly what I was looking for! It was perfect for me. We negotiated a fair price and he helped to negotiate plumbing repairs the home inspection uncovered. We closed in about 4 weeks. Frank knows the area, has great contacts, and the process could not have been easier! I had a cabin to sell and it sold in 4 days! Frank knows the market and he priced this cabin to sell. I got my asking price and the sale closed within 2 weeks. Unbelievable! Get to know Big Frank! You'll be glad you did!

READ BEFORE RENTING!!!! We rented a pet friendly cabin (Wolf's Den) from Mountain Escapes through…read moreBooking.com for Christmas in order to be close to my brother's house and be able to have our dogs with us. I'm always leery to rent pet-friendly because not everyone has a "four on the floor" policy, however, cleaning beforehand should take care of things. This was not the case with this property. My parents arrived to the cabin on time but we were delayed a day and did not get to the cabin until late Christmas Eve. My parents are too nice and noticed a lot of cleaning issues (glasses put back dirty, fridge cleaned with gross rag, dirty floors, dirty surfaces) but didn't want to complain and also didn't check our bedroom on the second floor (mobility issues). When we got in to go to bed the sheets looked like they had not been changed and had dog hair (or lots of human hair) all over the sheets and pillow cases. The floors were disgusting and definitely not vacuumed as well as the side tables were filthy. I reached directly out to the property to let them know my boyfriend and I would be leaving to a hotel in town but that I wasn't going to uproot my parents and that they would be staying. I never asked for a refund but wanted them to know that whoever is cleaning did a horrendous job (Lorie according to the note) but I received a response from them that we could all go to a hotel and that they were ending our reservation the next morning at 10 am on Christmas morning. My parents are in their 70's and so we had to rush Christmas morning and miss spending it with my brother and his family in order to pack back up to vacate. I have never experienced such horrible customer service and unless you want to be kicked out for reporting something - do not rent from these people. They did credit us back for the night that they kicked us out and I was luckily able to get my parents a room as well (at a premium and more than the cabin). But this cabin was costing us $500 a night...so there was no excuse for a dirty property and bad customer service. Shame on you Mountain Escapes.
