I had my augmentation with lift yesterday. Donna is wonderful and explained everything so well. I had never gone under and was extremely nervous. Every blemish, spot, discoloration and spider vein I had before the two peels are still right here on my face. The office cancelled my third scheduled peel several times because they did not have a nurse to administer the laser. Two different nurses left this practice in the time of my appointments; it appeared to me that this office couldn't keep staff. It's very discouraging to have paid $1,125 for alot of aggravation and inconvenience.  I asked the office manager why Dr. Wasserman felt entitled to keep my money but received no answer.

However, I never got to an consult appointment that was scheduled 5-6 months prior. It was determined based off of doctor notes sent from 5 months ago, that I did not qualify for this surgery. Many circumstances can change within 5 months, that is why we have follow up appointments, is it not? I was informed by my pcm (you would think that the referral office would call you and explain their decision) 2 weeks before a consult, that had been scheduled months prior. I am very disappointed in how this matter was handled and the response I received when I called. My recommendation would be for anyone looking for help or a referral is to continue looking for a doctor's office who values the fact you have waited 5 months to see them and at least will give you the courtesy of calling you directly to communicate their decisions. Patient's have rights also. Don't settle for mistreatment.

They would not book an appointment unless they spoke with me on the phone first, I've never heard of such nonsense. Ridiculous. So had I been out of town or laying in a hospital bed, then tough luck for the poor patient. So I call them back; why can't you just make me an appointment like every single other doctor in this world except for University Specialty Clinics, and they refused. Ridiculous. A legit doctor wants to see patients and will just make you the appointment. But they said it violated their protocol. After beating cancer, I could care less about their protocol. I can't play phone tag and then be told the referral was 'failed.' I've asked around and they have less than a good reputation, that they see you for five minutes and then write five prescriptions. So I am glad they made it impossible for me to see a doctor there. But for the person with neuro-psychiatry problems, with reduced cognitive functioning, who has issues with memory, just forget this place. If they can't just make an appointment and call it a day, then there is something wrong with them.

My experience with Dr. Lynn was SO much better. She spent 45 minutes with me, did a full body check, wrote me much more effective prescriptions, and recommended a skincare routine that is working so well. I'm truly thankful to Dr. Lynn for her concern about me and her wonderful bedside manner. I'll never ever go to a different dermatologist because she's the whole package.
