I had a terrible experience with this company. I took my truck to them with a check engine light for the turbo, but the truck ran perfectly. I told them I thought it could be a computer problem because it had been showing other erroneous codes. The owner apparently did not listen to a word I said because he just changed the turbo (for over $8000) without looking at the computer issue, and it took him two weeks. He also padded the bill with extra parts, but when I caught that, he refunded $500. A week later, the check engine light came on and I took it to a real mechanic, who updated 3 computer modules, and only charged a couple hundred dollars. He said that if the turbo vanes were frozen (as Done Right claimed on their estimate) the truck would not have run properly, but it never showed any symptoms, even when towing. I had air leaks. They found them fixed them had no problem with their service. also, it was done as promised, and the price is right.

This shop recommended new shocks, new engine mounts and transmission mounts on my RV. When I paid the bill ($2339.29 plus a $100 tip) I ask if they had tightened the nuts and bolts to spect. Owner said yes. They had NOT TORQUED any of the nuts! I drove 1200 miles, some shocks were hanging loose, none were tight. Then my engine fell 4 inches because a mount bolt fell out. 15 days lodging and transportation plus a huge shop bill for parts and repairs. Chet excepted the blame by giving me his insurance name and number, but I was yelled at, and accused of ripping him off when I sent the copy of repair bill ($2224) that his insurance did not cover. After 3or 4 calls from my attorney, he did offer a settlement that I accepted, but it came far from covering my cost of repairs. I would never recommend this shop. The owner Chet Erickson has to many irons in the fire to make sure jobs get finished. He is always getting interrupted by his phone and other business ventures he is in. He called this a "small mistake" if that tells me how he does business. read more

I was visiting LHC and my Class A RV was leaking antifreeze and overheating @ about 4:00pm. My Roadside Service directed me to a shop that was close by, but when I arrived at the shop, I learned that they had moved. A kind man suggested Done Right, which was less than 2 blocks from where my RV was parked. After explaining my situation to the Done Right shop owner, he said he could fix it enough to get me back on the road or could replace the entire part the following day. He offered to accommodated me and said I could park my RV in the shop's lot overnight. The next morning, as soon as the shop opened, he immediately had his staff begin the repair. In 3 hours, I was back on the road and headed home. Done Right has earned my future business when in the area and a well deserved recommendation for ANYONE needing an honest and respectful service provider. Incidentally, Done Right is one of the very few shops that was capable of lifting my 38 foot Class A RV to perform the needed repair. It was a tedious process to complete the repair, but the 2 mechanics working on the job made the repair look very simple, even though I know darn well it wasn't. My respect to both men. They made my experience seem uneventful. read more

Our Winnebago was losing power on upgrades like the fuel pump or filter was going bad. Chet @ Done Right said filter was 40% clogged but he didn't have a new filter to install & thought tranny needed service; he also noticed spark plugs were bad so he replaced all plugs & wires for $375 (total bill for work done--more than $1500.) Back home in CA we took RV to a local shop to have new fuel filter installed & tech noticed two of the new spark plugs were burned nearly through because heat shields had not been replaced by Done Right. We were lucky we weren't stranded in the desert on the way home. Local shop replaced fried plugs & wires & added heat shields for $400. Done Right has a good reputation in Havasu, but what we experienced was far from satisfactory. Apparently owner Chet is the only one who works on RVs; we had to stay in town an extra 3.5 weeks for our appt, by which time he was booked out 2 months. His shop is small for the number of RVs he services. He obviously does too much himself & thus makes costly mistakes like what happened to us. read more

One of the worst shops I have ever been too. The owner chet yells and tried intimidating his customers and drags out the repair. This shop was only $98 dollars cheaper than the dealer to do the same repair. Do yourself a favor and go to the dealer or find another shop. Chet is one person that knows the meaning of customer service. I was here for the Run to the Sun car show and the AC went out on my GMC Denali on the way. Ever other repair shop was was closed on Saturday and only one shop called me back. . Chet called me back, and offered to take a look at my AC even though he was closed.. I arrived at 8:00AM on Tuesday Aug 2, they were able to look at my car right away. This was such a relief to me since I needed to be on the road and back to Fullerton CA by 3:00PM. I was having a problem with the AC in my BMW. They discovered that the drainage plug was stuck and the condensation was leaking inside my car.
