I needed a replacement stone and the owner said it would be ready in a week. I called back that Friday and It wasn't ready. I asked why they didn't call and he said they had the wrong number, even though I have the receipt and it says the right number. The next week was another excuse and the week after that. I never got my stone replaced but that isn't why I'm rating this place 1 star. Communication was never there and they had over a month to at least let me know what was going on and keep me in the loop.

I dropped off 5 watches for the batteries to be fixed, expecting them to get done by the next day which was Saturday. I called Saturday afternoon and no one had started working on them. I finally got them all back on Thursday after having to call and seeing what was taking so long. They let me know that my watch was missing a screw and we're fixing it. When going to Ewings they replace them that day and it takes about 5 - 10 minutes for each one. I just wish there was more communication and there was no dog poop on the mat...I love dogs but when going inside a business, the first thing I do shouldn't have to be going back outside to try and get that off my shoe....

I stopped by the shop, apprehensive because I had my kids in tow, but as soon as we walked in, a Tv show was placed on for them to watch. They had a kid-friendly area complete with toys and complimentary drinks. This local shop has thought of everything for customer comfort. I got to speak with John and he even increased his initial estimate, so I walked away with more than expected which was a delight. The real gem was how kindly we were treated (like one of the family)! Everyone was so genuine. I've worked in the customer service industry for 10+ years, and it is evident John and his family really care about their customers. They took my kids behind the counter, handed them a black light they got to use to illuminate some gems, and even let them pick out 2 gems to keep! It was the highlight of their week! At the time he said he could fix it, with no problem. Days after he messaged saying he could fix for another $185. It was then she decided she just wanted it back. He told her husband that he could return the money in 3 days. That never happened and when we went to retrieve the iPad, He tried to scam us out of more money, he then became very volatile. After he had threatened us and got us upset; he then went into his home yelling he was scared for his life! "For his recording I'm sure"and returned pulling a gun as we were walking back to our vehicle. We informed him we had 2 children in the car to put the gun away. But instead he stood in front of our car.
