The fields and chateau in the distance really transports you to another realm. The food is exceptionally good and creative without being ridiculous. The flavors are expressive, familiar, but not unapproachable. Most of the courses impressed although none really stood out above any other. And of course the service was top notch. Nothing was missed and the staff were kind, patient, and attentive. This is where they earned their second Michelin star. I definitely recommend checking La Grand Vigne if you're in Bordeaux and enjoy fine dining.
