Note: This is a 3.5 Stars Review!
I've said it in my previous review, my Tagaytay trips will never be complete without eating Bulalo! So, while Carlo's favorite is LZM, this is my favorite place to get my Bulalo fix. It's just across the LZM restaurant and, be warned, not really the cleanest restaurant I've been to. BUT, I keep coming back for their food (which is saying A LOT!).
This is the only restaurant I know in Tagaytay that serves Bulalo for 24 hours. Yes, you can get Bulalo at 3AM! The main reason I prefer the soup here is because you can taste the richness of the beef in the broth. I mean, if they are boiling all those bone marrows in one pot 24/7 then that soup is perfect any time of the day.
Also, this restaurant serves "exotic" meat dishes such as crocodile meat and horse meat. I have tried the Horse Sisig and...it was surprisingly delicious! The meat was lean but so soft. Plus, the flavor of horse meat is not gamey at all. It's actually quite sweet. Please don't hate me for eating horse meat! I just had to try it. Honestly, the horse sisig tasted way better than the pork sisig.
Again the HUGE downside of this place is that it is VERY dirty and looks more like a shanty than a restaurant. However, you must try the food. Way cheaper than LZM! :) read more
