Then, allow the friendly staff to bring as many items from the menu as you can handle. Come with a group so you can share. An absolute must is the whole fish done à la Contramar, one side of the split fish coated in a punchy parsley sauce and the other in a red adobo rub. Served with flour tortillas (which are refillable) and black bean dip, you'll be instructed how to compose perfect bites. Then, choose your own adventure! We also had both the 4 piece each shrimp tostadas and tuna tostadas. Radically different so getting both doesn't duplicate. The pasta (spaghettini) with clams was buttery and garlicky and the pasta was surprisingly not overcooked. Biggest surprise was the grilled soft shell crabs (with corn tortillas). They came pre cut then reassembled so it was easy to pick them up and pop them in your mouth. The grill flavor was fantastic and we were all impressed. We finished with a slice of coconut cake which was like a caramel coated macaroon. Perfect! Large wine list by the glass and bottle, many cocktails, sangria and beer to choose from. Definitely a place to visit when in Mexico City. Sorry for the lack of photos-- we forgot because we dove into each dish (we were hungry and they looked so good)! Got one good one though...

This was my first restaurant experience in Mexico City and it did not disappoint. It's not a huge…read morerestaurant but it's clean, bright, and modern. Service and food were on point. We were served blue corn tostadas with a few different sauces - all of which were tasty, especially the spicy creamy green one. We then ordered appetizers to share. All were tasty but hands down my favorite item was the pulpito. The octopus was so tender and went perfect with the little potatoes. I also really liked the rib eye tacos which came with the best red spicy sauce and the tiradito which is a campachi Crudo. From the cebiche tasting platter (no photo), I liked the atun the most. Of course we ordered desserts as well. I actually cannot remember the names but will comment on them with the attached photos. One I' didn't get a photo of was a chocolate dessert. It was very good but rich. If you're in the neighborhood I suggest trying this spot out.

Half of the table orders were taken but not the other half. We had to keep calling the wait staff back. We received our food at different times. Someone received burnt rice as well. The manager did come over and apologize in addition to offering us a comp dessert. I did not enjoy the tres leches, it was way too sweet but the other desserts were good.

The cocktails were ridiculously creative (including ingredients like soursop juice, eucalyptus, charred pineapple, worm salt, basil, cucumber etc--obviously not all in the same cocktail), and served in dramatic glasses with fun garnishes. In terms of food, we were four people and we shared four starters (yellow-fin ceviche, kampacho and blue fin sashimi (which they call laminadas), and a shrimp "envelope"--each one was remarkable, and served with flavorful sauces that complimented the dish. Our mains were also good, though not as spectacular--they offer Catch of the Day (mahi mahi today) prepared in three different styles. The plain one (pan seared with shallot butter) was nothing special, but the option served over spinach with a cream sauce was incredible. The grilled shrimp main was also excellent as was the chocolaty dessert. Overall a delightful meal with excellent service and cocktails!

Turns out everything we had was really fresh and delicious. Personal favorites were the Camarones al Ajillo, the Pulpo, the Yellowfin ceviche, the Mahi-mahi, and the suckling pig. Which was basically most of what we ordered... Taking off a star because there were a few options on the menu that weren't available, which was a little disappointing. And despite how delicious everything was, it was all fairly simple and traditional, without much wow factor to account for the higher prices. The service was fantastic as well, however, so this is a definite recommend!
