I'm only familiar with Diliman Prep's Preschool and elementary programs so I can't speak for their high school levels. The preschool incorporates the Doman gentle revolution system and Singapore science and math. At this early stage, the preschoolers are already taught the fundamental computer programs in MS Office, in preparation for the elementary level's Robotics curricula. Once your child is promoted to the first grade, you have the option to enroll him in the Space Science program, which is entirely separate for the regular school curriculum. You might want to wait until the 2nd grade or even later to do this though, just to give your child a chance to first adjust to the greater demands of the elementary school before adding to his academic load.

They call themselves a "Montessori" school, yet they rush their lessons and the students. The tuition is expensive, yet most of their teachers are fresh graduate, not yet licensed, and usually quit after a year or two. The faculty doesn't even try to protect their students from bullying, abuse, defamation, and other kinds of harm. Even the teachers are part of the problem. Most teachers also show their bias and favoritism towards students. They don't want to take responsibility for all the issues happening within school grounds and outside issues which involve their students as well. All they try to do is hide their problems to keep their "perfect" school and "perfect" students kind of act. They have faulty utilities like a decorative elevator which they only turn on during parent-teacher conferences, restrooms that always flood, and air conditioners full of dust. Security system is horrible. According to a few of my old acquaintances who still study here/have recently graduated; A grade 7 student was able to bring liquor, cigarettes, and a firearm to school without anyone noticing. The person who noticed/did something about it was another STUDENT. SUMMARY: Horrible time management. They don't follow the Montessori approach. They rush lessons and students. Understaffed. Majority of teachers are fresh graduates and not yet licensed. Favoritism among students. Teachers have obvious biases. Faulty utilities. Decorative elevator, dirty restrooms, and dusty air conditioning. Weak security. Students are able to bring contraband into the campus. I hope this school starts to accept criticism and fix their system.

What distinguishes St. Paul from other schools is its determination to bring up well-rounded girls. Yes, the importance of academics is highlighted, but in all my years there, our teachers and headmistresses never failed to remind us that art and culture are important too. Off-campus broadway shows and other cultural immersions were the norm, and in retrospect we were so fortunate to have been exposed to those things growing up. Music appreciation is also incredibly prevalent in the school. While other schools have one alma mater song, we had AT LEAST five. That's not including Marian songs we'd sing all throughout the month of October. Often, the morning rites included a religious song taught to us by experienced music teachers who had so much passion for teaching their chosen subject. Having been part of the choir for three years in high school, I had the pleasure of being under the tutelage of conductress Mrs, Sheila Fetalvero. Fondly called Mommy B, she was the mother hen to the MAC (Music Appreciaton Club) Choir. The club is called differently now, but in many choral and glee club circles, it's so prominent that it's still referred to as MAC to this day. St. Paul may not agree with all my religious beliefs, but it was an excellent place to grow up. I would be happy to send my own children there.

These are Mensa kids were talking about; Many are wary that the school is located along the Agham community, which is pretty notorious for high crime rates and riots. TL;DR: This is the country's literal school for the gifted (X-Men?). Philippine Science High School houses the best and brightest.

Need I say more?; They have some of the best elementary school teachers I've seen and known. A number of my professors even worked in UPIS while taking their masters and PHD's. They're my inspiration in improving my craft as a teacher for young children; If you're a faculty of UPIS, you don't have to pay for your post-grad education in UP. Free tuition, aw yeah!; The kids may be a bit rowdy at times, but they're so adorable! And smart, too. CONS: Class sizes are too big for my liking; It would be awesome if UPIS would integrate special needs children in their classroom.
