Anywho we stopped at Don Jenaro's for some chocolate and bread. They actually had a bread made out of corn that paired so deliciously with the chocolate. The spot is so cute in the inside it has a few places to sit and it's beautifully decorated with local artisan pieces. There is various types of hot chocolate you can enjoy. I love their semi-sweet. My mom just brought some back from there that's how I remembered to write this. The people were so hospitable. The fact that they had a gluten free bread cake for me to enjoy alongside the chocolate was the best. When I bit into the soft, creamy corn bread cake it made my heart burst of happiness. I could not tell it was any other kind of bread. Highly recommend. Do your research on this place because there's quite a bit of tourist spots around. For example, Janitzio, which is a island within this town that's indigenous and they really know how to celebrate the day of the dead. Enjoy!

This location has 3 sections...an outside area towards the mall, a middle indoor area & another outside area facing a couple of more stores & also the parking lot. Baristas are nice & they have a lot of different desserts we don't usually have in the U.S, so take advantage & try one of those :) Their WiFi is a little slow, but hey! I recommend La Guercita only two blocks away if you want good, tasty food and attentive service. Examples. My mocha had no chocolate flavor and my wife's dirty chai tea was not anything close. My father in law order juevos rancheros that came out completely cold and the sauce was wrong. And I was told that a chicken Milanese torta would take 45 minutes. Guess breaded chicken is a hard dish to cook. Pass on this place. There are many other better places in the centro to get breakfast or lunch.

I asked for a recommendation between the Caffe Nutella or the Caramel and he said Nutella. I went with his recommendation and it was good. My daughter wanted breakfast but they were no longer serving breakfast. It took several minutes for our drinks to come out, and it took about 20-30 minutes for our food to arrive. The server didn't check in on us at all and didn't bring us napkins until I asked. We ordered a cheeseburger, enchiladas suizas, lasagna, a smoothie, several aguas de Naranja, and a coffee. The enchiladas were super spicy! For someone who does not eat spicy, they were extremely spicy. We were having a wonderful conversation but kept getting interrupted by vendors, which, honestly, ruins the vibe. I understand vendors have to sell but we are trying to eat and talk. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The inside of the place is super cute. My recommendation is eat inside so you can eat in peace and enjoy the cute vibe. Our total was $910.
