Great points to consider during our stay in A&O Bremen Hotels :
1. 15-minute walk from the main train station. It's not near as it seems, but you may take a tram right outside the Hauptbahnhof.
2. Take Tram 10 to Gröpelingen then after 2 stops, go down to Daniel-von-Büren-Straße
3. Remember that stop Daniel-von-Büren-Straße (Strasse) is your hotel main stop, whether you take the tram or bus.
4. The hotel is a 2-Minute walking distance to the tram and bus station, which will take you to the Altstadt (old town)- basically almost near the best places around Bremen. Take the bus 25. There's a day ticket, which you can by from the bus driver which had cost us EUR 15 for 4 adults, and is valid for the whole day.
5. Fresh and clean hotel entrance. The lobby has a projected screen, showing the World Cup. There are vending machines for snacks and drinks. Ice cream is for EUR1
6. There are activities for adults (board games) and toys for kids.
7. The lobby though small is functional. They have power outlets, USB ports, tables, comfy chairs and clean toilets too!
8. Accommodating Receptionists, Tara and Taha.
9. Upon checking-in they'll give you a map of Bremen in which all the important tourist spots to check out are highlighted.
10. You have to pay the Bremen tourism tax of AED 2.14 per person per night.
11. Their bunk bed has USB ports and individual LED lamp. How cool is that?
12. Comfy bed and pillows.
13. TV has English speaking Channels. (BBC)
14. Organized bathroom with ample amenities such as shampoo, bath gel and towels.
15. Stable WiFi signal in the room.
16. Quiet room
17. They have one elevator. Works for us!
18. Each of us were given a room key.
19. They accommodated all of us, 4 adults in a room. We have a twin bedroom and a bunk bed. Practical for a small group, a family/friends.
20. Upon checking-out, you can store your luggages in their lockers. EUR 4 for 3 hours, EUR 6 for 6 hours and EUR 8 for 24 hours.
Challenges that we have faced:
1. Hotel or hostel, make up your mind because your branding is confusing.
2. No grocery store around. Buy all your necessities in Hauptbahnhof before checking-in.
3. No restaurants around the area. You have to go back to the train station or proceed to Altstadt.
4. Hotel or hostel, make up your mind because your branding is confusing.
5. No grocery store around. Buy all your necessities in Hauptbahnhof before helping-in.
6. No restaurants around the area. You have to go back to the train station or proceed to Altstadt.
7. There's no air conditioning system nor fan in the room. It's summer so we needed air. You have to leave the windows open. It gets cold at night, so don't worry. It's quiet too so we were able to sleep soundly at night.
8. Upon checking-in, even when we paid for 4 adults, only the twin bed has been properly set-up. The bunk beds were dumped with the linens, and we had to set it up ourselves. The way it was dump was as if it was used. (I'm attaching photos, so you can judge if they have improved this. The management promised to do so. Let's see)
9. The water pressure in the shower was weak.
10. The wash basin is just beside the bed. Design fault so no biggie.
11. No fridge. No complimentary bottled water.
