This is a historic property because it was one of the first to be rebuilt after the second world war bombing. (Seeing images of the same spot devastated by allied bombing immediately after the world war is chilling...) Don't miss the artefacts displayed from the historic port of Bremen in the lobby, since this is a port city. The view of the main train station and the plaza from the rooms is great. Around the hotel are a number of quick diners and shops for cell phones, snacks, and cafes. You can get some Turkish kebab here. The tram lines run directly in front of the hotel door. The rooms are quiet, modern, spacious and well appointed. The bathrooms are also spacious and modern with the lovely towel warmers! Excellent value. Friendly staff at the front desk. The WiFi was fast, secure, and excellent speed all over the hotel. If you are driving check with reception because you can get parking for an additional 11 Euros a night. The parking entrance is around the corner and you will have to drive into an auto-lift to be taken up to the parking level for your assigned spot. The front of the hotel is only accessible via a temporary access lane shared with pedestrians. You can enter the parking garage by a backdoor in their alleyway using an entry access code that reception will give you.

Remember that stop Daniel-von-Büren-Straße (Strasse) is your hotel main stop, whether you take the tram or bus. 4. The hotel is a 2-Minute walking distance to the tram and bus station, which will take you to the Altstadt (old town)- basically almost near the best places around Bremen. Take the bus 25. Something London is so sorely missing. I've stayed here a couple of times now and enjoyed both. Guests seem to be mainly private visitors (even though Prizeottel seems ideal for conventions and visitors to trade fairs, etc) and the atmosphere very relaxed. Facilities are pared down to essentials and the only extra is a free bottle of mineral water offered to guests at check-in. The rooms are clean, modern and equipped with flatscreen TVs and free wifi. Breakfast is available at a reasonable extra and the buffet looks inviting - German hotel catering is just so much more attractive than the English equivalent at this price range. No revolving toast makers, greasy scrambled egg made from powder, etc. Fresh fruit, cheese and cold meats instead. And loads of other goodies I didn't get a chance to try as friends were picking me up for brunch elsewhere - but the coffee from the self service machine was as good as what is served in many coffee bars at a much higher cost. Highly recommended, and I keep checking for new locations being added - Hamburg so far with Hannover in the pipeline.

The hotel is very large and pictureesque and situated in a large park. The rooms are large and comfortable with thick heavy red curtains. Free parking and wireless never hurts but beware of the 25 € breakfast if you dont have it inc in the room. The spa/sauna area is very nice and open between 07:00 and 23:00. My dear gf forgot a pile of clothes in the room wich they packed and sent to Sweden. Good service! The missing star is because they dont have any a/c wich i think is a bit strange for a 5 star hotel.
