A beautiful train station in the center of Bremen. Lots of shots, options for food, treats, and souveneirs. IF you have a big heavy bag it might be a bit harder since all the trains are up and getting around is down. If your train happens to be cancelled, and your only language is English... Well, you either need to find a good German/english speaking friend or just book another hotel over night! Very large and efficient station, i'm a fan, as long as everything is going well! read more

A lot is being said about the train station in the German reviews, much more than I can summarise here now, and much more than I would have known from my few visits to this city and its train station! If you are interested in train stations, take a little bit of time to read up on this one, and take your time wandering about in it. A very spacious, bright and clean train station, it is the main transport hub into town for visitors and locals, with lots and lots of passengers passing through the station every day. Bremen has a fascinating history as a trade town, and its rail connections certainly helped to build that reputation! There is also a lot to discover in the vicinity of the train station, including the historic old town centre not very far away. If you have a little bit of time here, make sure you have a look around! There should be maps in the tourist office in the train station. read more

Not bad for a train station. just enough in the way of coffee shops and bars to keep you occupied and it's easy to find your way around. handy for catching the tram to the airport too - I think it's the no. 6 tram and takes about 15 mins - buy a ticket in the little booth by the tram stop. read more

An accessible train station with all the basic amenities one would expect - I must say, I was more impressed by the outlook of the station. A clean, nice looking structure which has obviously been well maintained - with no sprawling graffiti or illegal stalls unlike many other European cities. There are several fast food joints and cafe's either in the station or nearby and generally these were of decent value. Booking tickets was not difficult despite my limited level of German - the staff in the ticket booking office were very helpful in understanding my needs whilst those in the tourist office were also very helpful in identifying potential destinations for short day trips out of the city. read more
