Phenomenal food and impeccable service…read more My friend and I had an excellent meal at Mio Fiore. We shared the branzino, pollo Fiorentina, a salad and bruschetta. Every dish was phenomenal. The flavours were superb, the ingredients tasted fresh and the quality of the produce really stood out. We started with Bellinis, 2 £16, followed by another Bellini for me and a glass of wine for my friend. We finished by sharing the affogato with coffee, Disaronno and biscotti, which was delicious. The service was impeccable throughout. Attentive, professional and warm, without ever feeling intrusive. The only minor criticism was that the music was slightly too loud, but it did not spoil our evening. Our bill came to £112, including the 10% service charge. It felt entirely reasonable for such an excellent meal, and the service charge was thoroughly deserved. Superb food, excellent drinks and genuinely outstanding service. We will definitely return.

Seated, at our request, on a charming outdoor patio, Damian cared for our every need almost before we thought of it ourselves. Because we six old friends catching up, he gave us all the time we needed without rushing us or hovering. The chef outdid himself on the specials that day, from a specialty cocktail to crab-stuffed ravioli in a white wine/lemon sauce, our mouths just tingled. The price point was more than reasonable, and there is plenty of nearby parking. We highly recommend!

I overhead them making disparaging comments about my body as I left. (I'm a normal size man who had just popped over from the office for the Christmas market. They were not closing for a special event BTW.) Clearly feeling judged for how I looked even though I was wearing office casual and a new coat. Didn't realize you needed to look like a Uni student going to a club to get in to Pizza Express. Can say with confidence that no one from my office, or their families will be going there again.

I've eaten in a number of Stradas I find them good value and will usually choose them above the other italian chain restaurants. We rocked up with three pushchairs and they welcomed us in. So, fantastic experience there - I can honestly say it was the best opening gambit I've seen. I went there for a meal this Wednesday with a friend and was just unimpressed. The food was OK, I had chicken and it was very bland. It was a bit of a disappointment - the food just didn't seem coherent? I paid cash, and the change came back. I noticed that instead of a 10p coin there was an American quarter - it isn't important (heck, the quarter is probably worth more than 10p), but it was a little annoying. They got the coin back as a tip. My tip is go to the Petit Square.......it's almost next door!
