Delicious lunch menu. The soupe was so good! Please, just label the food properly. Thanksread more

I've passed 400 a few times and it was always busy so it was time to give them a try. Located…read moreclose to the Triangeln stop, it is at the bottom of a residential building & definitely a neighborhood restaurant. I decided to sit outside as it was a nice mid September evening. Not too cool or too warm. That said, the interior is very warm and inviting. Looks like a great place to be when it's cold outside. It was quite busy for a Monday night. My server intuitively brought me an English menu. I asked for his recommendations for starter & he suggested Milled Shrimp in garlic. Perfectly cooked in a garlic olive oil sauce. The garlic bread had a pesto like spread on it and paired well with the Shrimp. For main, he suggested Pizza as that's what they are known for although the pasta dishes looked very good also. I ordered the Frutti de Mare pizza. It was a stretched pizza with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Tomato sauce was superb! The crust was thin and light with crisp edges. They also gave you a good amount & variety of seafood. Many places really skimp when it comes to seafood toppings. Not 400! Paired it all with a Peroni. Amazing service and food! Will be back to try the pasta and other dishes. I have found another exceptional Italian restaurant in Malmö!

Usually I refrain from reviewing Pizza parlours of any kind but when it comes to V.E.S.P.A I will…read moremake an exception. Sadly it is not to say HAIL but ratter to yell NAY! You might wonder why and here are the reasons, in fact pick any of the following: False, deceptive and or misleading advertising. It is generally not a good idea to state claims or make promises you might find hard backing up or fulfilling. It is even worst promising rose gardens! V.E.S.P.A claims, as stated on the web site, to bring the pizza back to its root, and promises that the taste provided will be the same as the taste one can only experience in the native land of pizza Italy. Now these claims raises eyebrows as well as some questions! Question Uno: did you forget about the different style of pizza in Italy; what kind are you bringing back? Neapolitan or perhaps Lazio style?Any root more legit than the other? In secondo it might be true that pizza has been swedish-fied to a point where some of my Italian friends are using terms such as sin and desecration. But isn't that also what makes pizza such a hit everywhere in the world, the ability to adjust? Why is this bad, that is the underlying meaning of your claim!? In terzo luogo e finalmente, even though one might love the original your pizza not in Lund nor in Malmö brings anyone back to Italy. In fact the only thing the taste reminds people of is the taste of the ingredients and toppings coming right out of jars or cans bought in a supermarket. Okay I'll give you this: Italian supermarkets. Here are some examples on what this means in reality; Grilled aubergine should be grilled upon the order or at the least in the same restaurant and not originate from a jar made and packed in Italy. The tomato sauce should be at the least seasoned if not cooked on the spot and not feel and taste as if it was pored right out of a tetra bag/box. Al dente is a definition by which an Italian restaurant lives or in V.E.S.P.As case dies by. To experience undercooked and overcooked pasta around the same table is an art only V.E.S.P.A capable of! There is nothing genuine or authentic about being sloppy with a knife cutting the ever so porkish salsiccia (thus not so fresh) in 10 different sizes. Different thickens leads to some slices or as I see it bites to be over or under-cooked! Best case scenario what V.E.S.P.A is doing is ASSEMBLING an Italian pizza at prices an Italian pizzeria would not even dare to dream of!
