They is a few ASDA stores in Blackpool too, but as I said, this is probably the main store serving the city centre area that I'm aware of. This store has multiple floors but don't be put off visiting, upstairs you have parking and a cafe, This store has over 600 parking spaces and it seems easy enough to use this car park, although I didn't but with it being a city centre, I don't know if they is a fee, which will probably be redeemed at checkout, but I'm not sure. They do have a great selection of Free From items, both frozen and sweet/savoury non frozen, however it is probably stocking far too many own brand products, which often are the same and do not stand out, it would be nice to see more big brands for competition. This Sainsbury's is quite a big store, and quite a nicer branch than my local stores: Heaton Park and Oldham. They have a nice customer service desk, and the store has a much easier layout and a nice customer service desk. All the staff seemed good. This is one of my favourite Sainsbury's stores and even though the gluten free range needs improving with more branded products rather than own label, I still think this branch deserves 3 stars.

The range covers apple danish slices (my own personal favourite), to lemon meringue pie slices, carrot cake, chocolate muffins, malteser crunch cakes and their speciality Dickson Road cakes, invented 60 years ago for the daughter of the family. The savoury pies, pasties and sandwiches are all incredible. They use the absolute BEST ingredients and as somebody who will not eat meat products for fear of finding a bit of gristle, you should see me wolf down their sausage rolls and lamb hotpot! The hotpot is available in single portions, 6 person trays or 10 person trays and can be bought hot or taken home and oven baked. They also do incredible cakes (at short notice too!) for any event you can think of. Their home delivery party/buffet service has an extensive menu and is always delivered on time and with a happy, smiling face. Not only do they provide plastic cutlery free of charge but also paper tablecloths, napkins and even a binbag to clear up afterwards! The cooked meats and homemade coleslaw & potato salads are available to be purchased separately and if a customer only requires 1 slice of ham, then that is fine. They constantly ignore the Councils rules and regulations when it comes to delivery trucks and have coming past everyone's property along the the streets throughout every night, regardless of the hour. They allow folk to tie their barking pets outside whilst the customers do a 'shop', which can take a long, long time. Customers take note : your lovely dog can be stolen and used for bait in dog fights! How can you be so cruel? If your pet barks outside a store, it is distressed and it is telling you so! If you return to that place where you put your dog, and it's not there, enjoy feelings of guilt for the rest of your life! It is probably being chewed up by now! When I complained and explained this to Asda, and asked them not to encourage it by leaving a water bowl out, their response was that they would rather customers choosing to leave their dogs there at least had a drink! What? Like having their last meal before a death sentence? How considerate! So yes, Asda are pretty good with customers. Just not very clued in with pets and the heavy truck loads through the night.

I visited early evening about 6pm expecting the lamb to be warmed up or just cooking but this was well cooked and fresh, they dont even open past 10pm so get there early as this is one kebab you can eat sober and savour. If there is a downside it is that the place is a bit dated and could do with a good clean decor wise, but i thought this added to the charm. I tried this place after a search on t'internet for best kebab shops in blackpool this place was there and thats why i tried it, i am going back only once a month though as i have to watch the waistline and look after the cholestrol levels.
