The lamb doner roll was a generous serving and tasted the same as any other lamb doner tastes to be fair. The chicken shish wrap was really good and big! The amount of chicken in it was surprising, loads of salad, and I had to put it down half way through! Really tasty, cooked well and more than generous. 100% going back. Yes it's "just a kebab shop", but, it's one of the better ones most definitely! Yummy! Well nice!

It's also unique because I did not actually order pizza here - I got a vegan Buddha bowl and found it to be flavorful, hearty and filling! I appreciated that they have other options for mains other than pizza and offer a greater variety of salads, pastas, and sides. It is a tad pricey though, but the decor inside and seating make it feel like you're at a fancier Italian place and not any old pizza chain! For a chain there are many options that are vegetarian friendly. Service varies based on location and when you go, but seems reliable if there is one near you!

Staff is very friendly and helpful, they responded promptly to all my requests and some of my fussy friends ;) They have flexible approach and are willing to go to the extra mile! The only minus of the place is lack of outside smoking area - you have to go out to the High street. And they don't do draught beer. It didn't matter for me but for somebody it might be an issue. Would love to recommend their taglliatelle salmone - absolutely mouth watering and my personal favourite. Although, I also enjoyed fusilli pollo, chicken in a spicy sauce (pollo picante) or simple but very tasty garlic bread with cheese - pizza style. The bill won't ruin you financially and I can assure you, it's worth it!

Despite asking for every possible sauce variation going (no sauce, with sauce, sauce on side), the staff managed to get it right. We each spent about £10, which is not too bad for a nice meal in familiar surroundings. However, we did discuss that actually, Ask have a far greater selection (including meat, fish and calzone options), and now that Pizza Express has increased its price, there doesn't seem much point in not going to Ask instead! They've even started issuing 50% off and 2 for 1 voucher with as much frequency as Pizza Express. I fear this will be the beginning of the end of my love affair with the Express.
