A great little local cafe. My friends & I eat there regularly, and I have used the place for years.
The staff are very friendly & considerate, the surroundings welcoming, and the food is great quality and value for money.
Example Home made chicken & leek pie, chips, choice of veg, gravy and a mug of tea, £4.70.
Similar price for full English breakfast and mug of tea.
Good selection of hot meals, snacks and hot & cold drinks.
The cafe has recently been refurbished and now has a small area with comfy chairs for a coffee bar style surround.
Frankie, the owner also plays in a band, aptly named 'Frankie's Cafe'. Well worth going to see if you can.
All in All, I would recommend this cafe to anyone who is going to be in the area. read more
