They removed the section that was underneath and that was that, a more relaxed walk. It's a great office. If you've ever suffered from chronic severe plantar fasciitis you know the hopelessness, frustration, despair, and chronic pain that greets every day. At one point I honestly was just feeling like please amputate my foot and just be done with this! When your mobility is effected, it has a domino effect on so many other areas of our life. For example with that kind of pain constant, I was no longer able to go to the gym. So then My stress level started increasing because I couldn't burn it off sweating it out. Then I started eating more food because I got stressed. Which made me put on more weight. Which made me more depressed. Which caused more pain on my planter fasciitis because I was carrying more weight on it and putting more pressure on the heel. Then I started getting more irritable. And my relationships started to suffer. I was not able to participate in recreational activities or even take a nice hike in nature. Which started to effect my sleep patterns. Which then started to effect my work performance. I think you get the picture. But I can tell you, after 6 months of almost weekly treatments utilizing a combination of the shockwave machine, special custom designed insoles, special footwear, and even CBD pain relief cream it created an entourage effect that ultimately healed my injury. Today I am happy to say I am 98% better! Dr. Dorfman was not only a Physician that helped alleviate the physical pain but he also helped alleviate my mental anguish. The door was locked but a woman was sitting at reception clearly inconvenienced by my presence. She yelled that the doctor wasn't in and I said I just wanted to make an appointment. She got up in a huff and unlocked the door. I mentioned I left messages to make an appointment and she yelled at me that I had not. She hadn't even asked my name. Then she asked what insurance I had, and again told me the doctor wasn't in. Then she started going through the phone history to see if someone left a voicemail to make an appointment. I told her not to bother since I was there now and she glared at me. I then realized I needed to do her job and ask when I could come in another day. She asked when I wanted to come in and after I told her she said the doctor wasn't in that day. I left. I had heard Dr. Bernkopf was very nice and I figured he must be to put up with her. Shame.
