Schwerin Dom (Cathedral) is a very impressive building and dominates the city skyline. Sadly, it could also do with some serious renovation work. There is indeed some ongoing, but it needs a lot more. For a small fee (EUR2 I think), you can climb the tower, which sounds like a good idea, but we didn't try it ourselves. Other than the imposing structure, there is some seriously impressive stained glass, but again it could to with further cleaning and renovation. read more
